i was just wondering, is it that Filebank doesn't work on your browsers? or are you guys having problem with installing the download manager or something?
Works fine for me with the Filebank download manager. Only thing is that before they changed the site, I used to be able to download files regularly, just like you would from any site. This allowed me to be able to download 5+ files at a time. With the download manager it only downloads one by one so it takes longer.

I had it working and then my download manager just stopped... 'registering' my filebank downloads so to speak. Like I'd hit 'download' on the browser and the download manager would remain blank.

That was a while ago and just 2 weeks prior to this message I cleaned out my computer of unused apps and this was one of them. Idk, I thought given how little Filebank was posted on DL it wasn't in vogue anymore.

stinkymonz: it's true that filebank isn't used a lot, but pretty much everything from Roz's blog (ATHENA Nihonbashi ranbats and some ABC ranbats) goes up on his Filebank account, so it might be worth it to re-install the Filebank manager if you're interested in getting those matches. but you know, some people just re-upload those matches to Youtube, so if that's good enough for you, the option's there.

I'v tried to convert them with Imovie(i have a mac) and it leaves a Flip4mac watermark on the vid completely making it look like shit. Anyone know of good video converters that leave this option out, and are free?

burn the mov files to an iso file, mount it, and then rip them in a more youtube friendly format from the virtual drive.

Jsyk, they started uploading them to nicovideo (http://www.nicovideo.jp/search/ggxx+athena) but only from the 23rd ranbat onwards. While it appears they will upload ranbats to Nico from now on, the epic matches we saw notes of in BMS's post of the 21st and 22nd ranbat are still lost to us.

lol considering that gamechariot has been putting up vids for years you're going to have to be more specific. if you could list some players or at least characters you want to see it would help out.

BlazBlue hasn't been out for years; it only goes back like a year or so. Like I said, I don't really care when it's from as long as it's actually from Gamechariot and not a lossy re-encode as is found on YouTube, etc.

If you really want something more specific, I'm mostly interested in Jin and my favorite players are Buppa and Dennou. More recent is better, obviously, as the metagame does evolve, but again, I'll take anything, really.

Oh, sorry, I misread. You were talking about combo vids, dunno where I got a-cho from. But mate, even counting only Reload and Slash CMs _I_ have (and I'm missing a lot), there will be more then 10Gb... gotta check the exact amount. The only sane method of transferring such volumes is torrent, and even it will work only with a good number of peers... and I doubt there are many ppl here who'd like to download that many of old CMs. If I'm allowed to ask, is there really any point for you in having ALL CMs? Narrow it down to certain characters, perhaps?

Well, I would ask for just the good ones, but what I think is good and what someone else thinks is good most likely differ. So, being able to have all of them and then filtering them out myself would be nice.

There are several options I can think of off the top of my head:
-You can find a tao match where she uses that win pose and record it. Easiest, but you'll probably get some bg music.
-You can find a sound test in BB and record off your ps3 with a DVD recorder or something (I don't currently own BB so I'm not certain there is a sound test...GG has one though).
-You can figure out a way to rip the soundtracks right off the BB disc. Considering the discs are probably more complicated than a ps2 disc, I have no clue how you might go about doing this, but imho it may get you the best possible results.

I can tell you that this method will work, as BB definitely has a sound test section. You can find it under the Options menu.

I found the audio file in the audio gallery (well its listed as Voice Number 119) but I don't own a DVD recorder... I tried recording it with my phone near the TV but the quality is trash... Would anyone pleeeeeeeeease be willing to do this? :kitty:

I was trying to upload the slash Johnny CM "Wind Way Walk Revival" and kept getting "Terms of use violation" messages from youtube. I've already uploaded countless other vids with no problem, even the #R Wind Way Walk...Anyone have any idea why I'm getting this, and from your experience, is it worth filing a complaint?

It don't really matter what you title it as long as it isn't naughty. The filters mainly go off of the audio/video tracks itself. Is the audio track more clean (easier to hear with no audio over it like the fighting sfx) on the song being used in the one you having trouble with? It should give you a complete message of what you are violating.

Yeah, I tried renaming it and like Kurushii says, I didn't have any luck. The audio is fairly clean, but the msg I get is not specific and just says Rejected: Terms of use violation. The weird thing is I have other combo vids using the same band and almost as, if not the same level of "clean" music is used, such as here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPfQqcBfsAc) and here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghUavcQlLB4) (the #R prequel version of the vid I'm having trouble with, made by the same guy (wtf lol).

... but only on my second try. on my first try, i used the original filename, and didn't add any video info, and i got the same "rejected: terms of use violation" message that you did. the second time, i renamed the filename to something ridiculous, made the title just "doo dee doo", and entered gibberish for the tags. after it was successfully processed, i just edited and renamed everything lol.
