You know what's weird?

I have the same problem whenever I download a match where one of the characters is listed as (BL). The vid always comes out being corrupted for me. Who the hell is BL supposed to be anways?

I was so damn sure he uploaded Dizzy matches before.. But I guess that was before he made this list.You were right, & it was before I made the list (thanks for posting it btw, HmR), which is why it's on the list (the list is just previous requests lumped together for convenience, & I move it up when I fill new requests so it'll show up closer to the top when people don't search), but it's not a pack, it's one of the page thingies. Not many for Dizzy at that time though (those are from Oct. '05 to Mar. '06), since I just put up the overall best at that time. I'll prob'ly do another Dizzy soon though, if there's interest, as she seems to have made a more effective showing over the months since.

Look for "Enc_elephant-syatite". Make sure you don't save the file as a text file (my browser seems to default to that option for some reason) by adding the .WMV extension at the end of the filename.

they mislabelled the file on the webpage's source code as "yama-kaname". it's available from the website if you enter in "Enc_elephant-syatite" instead of "Enc_yama-kaname" -- that's how i got it.

you may have downloaded FlashGet from a "bad" site (as in, they may have fudged with the download package and secretly included some spyware), or you may have a version that predates the newest one (ver. 1.72) -- these were known to have some adware that stayed active until you registered.

if you go to their official site and download from them now, you *should* be okay. (i haven't noticed any problems so far, but perhaps i'll look into it again.)

I am doing a Speech 1, class presentation next week and I'm able to do whatever informative subject I want, subsequently GG was my topic of choice. I can't have a vid be too long but I want to demonstrate how the game is proffesionaly played to my class. copy the mms link
open up vlc and click File > Open network stream
check off the HTTP/FTP/MMS circle
paste the mms link into the box
at the bottom, check off "stream output" and then click the settings button next to it
check off the "file" button, then click "browse" to type in the filename of the a-cho video/select where you want the video to download
check off "dump raw input" next to the browse button
click "ok" for both menu's, and it'll start downloading

I just checked it, the FileBank log-in should work fine. For downloading from the FileBank folder, though, you'd best use Internet Explorer, since FileBank doesn't work on all browsers.

I'll see If I can sort out some rushdown stuff for Suiluung, but that needs much more time to sort out.. so I don't know when I have that ready.. usually the best chance for rushdown is in against Faust an Johnny matches, as they not really have good options against Axls rush.. so I could upload my FA and JO folders if that would help..

The uploaded match ups are: axl vs jam/sol/ky/anji, but sadly I can't tell you which matches are in which pack, as the universities PCs doesn't have winrar installed so I can't confirm which match ups I put in which file :P

Actually that's not the case. Even if the red bar is filling up and my time marker is way behind it, all of a sudden the red bar dissapears and the time marker just resets back to the 0:00. Only once has refreshed worked, every other time I refresh the movie will reset itself at the exact same point or it will reset at an earlier or later point in the video. Do you understand what I mean? Even if I pause and let the red bar try to fill the video still resets.

hm that's pretty weird, i've never heard of that :S unless someone else knows exactly what to do, i would suggest going to their help page (http://www.youtube.com/t/help_center) and checking to see if there's anything useful there. (you could always email them for extra help, too.)

the file names are in Japanese, so if you don't have Japanese script enabled, it may cause some problems when you try saving the file. Try downloading them again, but re-name them in English and see if that works.

If that doesn't work, post again and I'll upload them for you.

it's a quicktime file, so either use QuickTime or VLC player.

4r5 and youcanwonder: i think the problem with the link is that the "x" in the filename is not in a Western encoding, but rather in one of the Japanese ones. if you don't have the Japanese language pack installed, I suspect this may cause you to not be able to download it properly (although i'm not 100% sure on that, it's just a hunch).

(one thing you could try is to change the encoding in your browser to Japanese, and see if that works. no guarantees, though, it's just something i'm throwing out there.)

in any case, i'll upload this for you tomorrow.

There's nothing special about the fact that I split up the Jam matches from the others -- SendSpace has a limit of 300 MB, so I had to split up all of the videos into 3 packs, and making a Jam package just happened to work.

Darnit. Out of all of the aba combo videos that have been made, I've only been able to see one. In fact there is something about combovideos in general that always screw up on my computer. The music will play but the video won't. If I move the tracker back to the 0:00 position. the video might work for a few seconds before it freezes. If I try again it will freeze at the exact same spot again but the music and track will keep on going. So is anybody else having the same problem with the aba video's that rtl42 posted or any combovideo's for that matter. For some reason match videos seem to work fine though. :blue:
