here is the first part of HoH3 ^^

I decide divide the video in two parts, and not make a movie with 40-50 minutes XD
and make two parts for two diferents tastes. ^^
This is the first part "HEAVEN SIDE", this part I use only Jpop songs.
In the "HELL SIDE" I use only Heavy Metal songs *_*, "Hell Side" I release next week ^^

incredible, the combos were awesome, the music was great, (went and downloaded aokoi after watching it), but the video editing was just beautiful...i actually love the bits between combos better than the combos themselves -.-...like, you could easily do video editing professionally, maybe you do, iono but that was fricken awesome

Ok, I´ve see it now, here are my opinions:

It´s just awesome.
The edition by Bahamutt is great, as usual, but it´s even better than in the other chapters of HoH.
The music sounds pretty cool, sweet bgm.

I don´t have any favourite combo makers like in HoH2, just because I loved all the stuff shown.
But if I had a gun to my head, and I had to choose, I´ll take the clips by Uriel (Johnny), Bahamutt (Millia, Baiken) & Blackheart (Axl, Baiken).

The combos level is amazing, I hadn´t seen so much crazy shit together in a looong time.
For me, this is the best of the 3 HoH editions.
So conrgats to all the people envolved on this, directly or not.
Special mention to Bahamutt for his great work on the edition, and to our TP buddies.

Can´t wait to see the Hell side! ^^

Wow that was easily the best CM I've ever seen. I can't imagine how much effort it took to make this. Excellent BGM, visual effects, combo quality, etc. The video editing was just outstanding.

anyways, now that i've watched the vid, i've gotta say GREAT JOB once again! the only "bad" things that come to mind (and they're not really that bad) are:
(i) the romaji text during the second-last song was a bit weird -- maybe try to use clashes/offsets as filler material instead?
(ii) in the last song, you rolled the combo makers credits all of a sudden -- it seemed a bit random, maybe save it for later? personal call, though.
(iii) i have no idea why i'm listed in the credits but thanks lol.

love how most of the baiken combos were dust combos lolol. sure says something about her in AC, eh.

all the combos were great, very unique combos I havn't seen before, they made chars I generally don't like look pretty intresting. I especialy liked the JO, BR and MI combos.

i like hideki ocmbo agaist dizzy, make very weird effects with his comand jum in the air XD.

bahamuth have make great combos with millia.

i cant choose any best player in this CV, i like all the combos.

akai shin have make great combo with chipp too.

music are cool, i think that i will like more the metal version, but i like the songs.

the edition is great, maybe is little confusing for not pro players or people that usully look CVs.

As expected, this video kicked ass. IMO it was perfect, but to be even better if I was the editor, after the THE END I'd put a-few-seconds preview of the hell side, just to leave the people with water in their mouth lol.

But it was really nice editing, combos, Baha combos with Millia kicked all the asses in the world, even mine hahahaha. Blackheart combos were also terrific.

Can't wait to see the other side of it! Congrats max power for you guys!

I think you guys cut it pretty close on the editing. I think in general the long breaks are pretty bad, those whole 1 min openings etc or even 5 mins openings... I jsut hate that shit.. Just makes me think of all those KOF videos. But you guys cut it pretty close so good job. Just enough to "hype" up the video I guess, but not make it boring....


Though that said in a way I think the editing almost over shadowed the video in a sence. I think a lot of the combos to me were kinda simple for how spectacular the video was? If that makes sence. Certainly some of them were cool combos one of the bridget ones and milla. But I dunno... I guess its hard to make a video that large though and have all new stuff to say.


Oh and to me personaly I think any thing with air throw, should just never be in a video ever. Its one thing in older games when you can get it to combo on the meter, but I think it looks really ghetto now when people have tech stuff in it unless its something like.. spectacular.

it sounded like Jais was asking what Hell side was, so yeah, I was just referring him to Bahamutt's own description of what it is (i.e. heavy metal music version). sorry if it was a bit terse.

However, I can't tell if that means Hell side has different combos from Heaven side, or if it's the same combos as Heaven side, but remixed/re-edited using heavy metal instead of J-pop.

Sorry to say, but watching a Heaven or Hell combo video is a great example at what NOT to do in a combo video.

Sorry to say, but watching a Heaven or Hell combo video is a great example at what NOT to do in a combo video.

I understand the scale of this project but if you want to make intros why not just use some combo or something flashy with some finesse (super edited combo, clash moments blah blah) to fill it instead of going overboard with prefight scenes, single moves, pictures and such to keep the flow going. This especially applies to the intermission.

the problem is, the movie is obscenely long. so, you're trying to apply movie design for 3-5 minutes movies, to something that is 5 times longer than that. it doesn't necessarily follow.

Sorry It took so long to comment but man that video was good stuff. Just like the Hell side, The video really kepted me buck for Guilty Gear, Its getting me all hype of how well the music went with the combos. And I do love J-pop, and whats anime theme with out Jpop :O.

It was a great job guys, I enjoyed it, Heaven side is my favorite of the two but I do like both. Your keepin my gears rollin for guilty gear .......even though I have no one to play it with ........:gonk:

Of the Heaven side my favorite was part two with the triple split screen on the guitar parts of the song, and how the song broke it down afterwards when people would start just gettin down with those combos with the music. Man that was some cool stuff.

As many mist finers I took to the face,....the music vid made me like Johnny for a nice little minute. I was like.....dammmn that man is really goiin ooff, just swinging like he has something to prove :o......And I loved that faust's JUSITCE! (He calls faust's force break giant hand chop move justice.... dont ask :/) on cue with the song lol.

You guys have kepted me hype once again :D. Without Hype I cant game :p.
