Alright, so I was bored and made a combo movie, since there aren't any around for Axl in AC.
Ouroboros is a straight combo vid, with music, funny video editing stuff, highly impractical combos, the works.
I also made a B-Side which is part of a project I've been working on: The most damaging meterless BLoop to knockdown against every character. Kinda boring, but it's to music too! :eng101:

The videos are good, finally some Axl videos !!
time to learn those Bomber Loops :V! i only know the simplest Bloops D;... since not too many vids show the best ones!

This movie exemplifies everything that is awesome about Axl. I thought the ridiculous Raei(S) shenanigans were especially fun to watch. I liked all the silly bits too--Housobakou-ing Shiranami no Homura, meaty Rashou fun on A.B.A., Rensen(FRC)>Raei(S)>Rensen(FRC)>Raei(S)>..., etc. Thank you for finally filling the AC Axl CV void.
The B-loops were neat, too, though they're of course mostly not new to me. The song was ridiculously hilarious.

I liked that 5+P, rensen-> FRC->Dash loop on potemkin ^^

Why the "purple" title ? Because you find it "ugly" ? lol
The vids are great, but still... 820 Mo for the original version ? oO Couldn't you do it less ? i know quality is important, but still, your friend hosting would be even more happy if it's lower ! (250 Mo should be more than enough ! Can't you resize it ?)

Yeah, I've been trying to convert the files, but for some reason, they always have problems, like no sound or random speeding up of the framerate. Basically, macs suck. Seriously. If there's anyone on here with some expertise at this, I'd be much obliged.

very, very impressive vid. i particularly loved the run under combo vs. pot, but all of them were really cool, no fillers, no long credits, no bullshit, just excellent combos.

Axl had no traditional combo movies before this one. He had a match up vid versus Anji, inclusion in that series of combos for every character in that Tougeki Damashii thing, inclusion in some Chipp/Axl cm, tutorial vids, a throw combo movie, and a joke black beat cm. Finally, a real CM. At least now, every character in the roster has at least one CM.

i don't know alot of Axl combos so yeah these were all relatively new to me so it was very enjoyable to watch
and the song choice wasn't garbage
and there was a ABA kill combo which is always awesome

Also the 63214S (I don't know move names >:O!) FRC Impossible dust was hot shit.

Well that's weird ! Especially because Macs ARE powerful for marking movies... I'd like to help, but the .mov video format isn't recognized by my application, so I can't convert it or anything...
Try separating audio and video and then putting them up together... I don't know ^^
About that Bomber combos, I think you should do it differently in order to make it more accessible on the forum !
I'm thinking about your idea of putting each in the match-up thread. Just cut each character specific part and put them on youtube (don't need sound here). Then On the first post of each match-up thread, post the video link with the appropriate combo. I think it will be less boring and easier to access immediately to the exact character specific combo !
Well, you can still keep the purple vid anyway ^^

if you know my vids, you know that i love impractical stupid flashy combos. so i thought this vid was really good...the japanese have become a bit lazy with combovids it seems...first axl after a year...from usa ^^
unusual music was cool, i just preferred at the drive-in but mars volta is ok too

Seriously, if you know how to convert .mov files without losing quality or getting weird side effects, please tell me. With the present bitrate/size/framerate, the file is WAY more bloated than it really should be.

well, if you want to convert it "just this once", there seem to be all kinds of file conversion programs that have trial versions you can download for free. (google "MOV converter")
I might be able to do it....
Also depending on how he captured it, and since he's using a mac.... I would imagine it was through a mac pro with a capture card, the program he was probably using, (final cut pro or quicktime) probably captured directly to .mov!

Nope. I captured via a tuner card with an S-Video port on a PC. The only thing a mac was used for was the editing (Which isn't mine, so my access to it is limited). I've basically tried every possible setting, and can't get a smaller file or a different format to export without destroying the quality. What I'm trying to use to convert it is SUPER, but regardless of what I try, I always end up with something like no sound, or the video being sped up for no apparent reason. (I can get certain settings to convert to AVI or OGG, but the framerate and video quality were like, sub-youtube quality.) A friend was able to get an MKV version out, but the sound doesn't work on some players, and it's no smaller. If you know of a way to do it, I'd appreciate it very much.

For sure. So the upload is in progress for a 295 meg version, which is basically a lossless of the original. Is that still to big? cause I could make it smaller, but I don't want too as I'd have to change the resolution of the video and stuff, and while thats not hard, I'm lazy.

super small (320 x 240, 2mbs) its like 85 megs or something, looks good just a bit blurry and small. I think you should get the 295 one if you can spare the space.

wow, only on my third time watching did i notice the song info in the middle of the movie. i guess cuz i was trying to watch the combo Alex was doing, i "tuned out" the text and didn't even bother trying to read it :vbang:

The song is oroborus, but I think the creator might have been thinking the snake eating it's tail was like when axl does the aerial 63214S, since it goes in a big loop like that. Just my guess, though.

Alright, so there's a bit of a problem: Chickenfat is looking for a copy of this, and I just realized that Ouroboros got taken off Youtube for copyright reasons. I also notice that the sendspace link for the smaller version is dead. Does anyone who has it want to UL to something like MU that stays up forever?
