BBCS no longer in Evo 2011. Vote to decide replacement!

APRIL FOOLS

Due to the fact that the community is chomping at the bit to play BBCS2, Evo Staff and Dustloop have come to an agreement that we would forfeit our spot this year for another game.

As sad as I am to report this news, this has happened in the past when BBCT was still the only BB game in America when BBCS was out in Japan. When that happened the Dustloop Community still went to Evo and held side tournaments for BBCS. If BBCS2 is out in time, you can expect us to show up and hold an awesome side tournament again.

"We appreciate the Dustloop community for being understanding enough to let another game have the opportunity to be showcased on the world stage for the second time. I hope next year we'll be able to accommodate the players with the latest version of BlazBlue." Mr. Wizzard said in an email to Dustloop.

To decide the replacement, we'll have a vote. The choices are:

WWE All Stars
The Fight: Lights Out
MvC3 Women's Tournament (singles and teams)
Arcana Heart 3
Mario Kart DS

personally, I wanted to include Brawl ++, Castlevania: Judgement, and DragonBall: Evolution PSP, but due to internal politics, they were not allowed on the poll

WE WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO HAVE DB:Epsp or BRAWL THERE...

Hope this is an April fools, since if it is this is a pretty good one. If not; why? SSF4 AE wont even be out before EVO so they will just hold SSF4 instead. BBCS was understandable as the game was out already in the arcades so all the top players already played it, hard to go back to CT then. But BBCSII still hasn't come for console and is exclusive for arcade in Japan, so i really don't see why they cant just hold the tournament anyway. Every year at Evo they always have a spot waster of a game, this year looked the be the first year where every game was actually watchable (yes that includes MK9) but i guess this wont be the case.

I would have been more like "AWESOME APRIL FOOLS!" if it had a DBZ game, or something super retro like Ehergiz: God Bless the Ring......but I'm actually super scared cuz I already paid for EVO.......no way am I gonna dress in drag to get into the MvC3 womans tourney!
