  • Do you guys want a Trading output? What about a DL Podcast?

    Hey guys, the staff has been discussing these two topics recently, and we decided to ask the people at large whether these things would be beneficial to the community or not.

    1. Trading outpost: would you guys actually use this? we would be using shoryuken.com's trading output as a template and likely be using similar rules (minimum posts before you can post in it, must be logged in to see it, no piracy, no porn, etc).

    2. Who would want a regular (monthly?) podcast where we discuss current events in the FGC, things happening on dustloop, etc?


    Anyone with expertise in these areas are highly recommended to share their thoughts. For example if you help run trading posts, tell us what you thought could be done better or different organizational structures compared to srk.

      A podcast sounds fantastic, by monthly seems like we might not get to hear enough. Maybe two a month, so we can get a lot of topics covered and interview lots of players.

      I'd love a podcast specially if it broke down strategies and community thoughts on characters like the episodes of WakeUp SRK when they have Viscant on.

      I think we've needed a trading outlet for a while now. I don't think it's going to be nearly as successful as SRK's due to the difference in user numbers, but it will be useful nonetheless.

      I think a podcast is good, but I don't think I should be a part of it. I can already imagine the epic butthurt from what I would have to say about some things.

      Yes on both. Podcast sounds like fun, and the trading post would more than likely see activity. I know I'd use it.

      thank you for your input everyone, seems like we will be trying ot get both off the ground. i will discuss with the supermods and see how we can divide up the work so i don't lead 3 projects poorly (wiki/podcast/trading output)
