"Computer" is vague. You mean desktop? You'll have to no problem with 360. It doesn't have any hdcp protections.
I was primarily going to use with the Xbox and computer- was the desktop one you mentioned good for both?
If you play on PS3 and want to record through HDMI then it takes more equipment to buy.
Desktop: Avermedia Game Broadcaster HD or a Avermedia Live Gamer HD. If you are doing through laptop then I suggest waiting a little bit longer as Avermedia is about to release a external usb card that is looking pretty amazing in specs.
Kurushii I am seriously considering (well maybe my mind is already made up) buying a capture card -- but I know very little about them other than a google search or amazon search - do you think you could take alittle time to enlighten me?
Highly unlikely CP will be out in May. I'd say June at the earliest. I'm not the sites article writer. I suck at it. I just write the game news. Anyone is welcome to make a article. Then it'll be up to staff to judge if it should be accepted as one. Only reason I wrote NEC's one is because I helped with the tournament.
Kur I dunno if this merits an article or anything but there is what some ppl are calling a major happening in utah " http://www.saltfest.org/ " I happen to live there but Im not sure Im the one to announce it - anyhow Ive already spoken to some people who are more involved with the scene here they say its likely CP will show up (granted its released around may) but i dunno about EX - depends on interested parties -- guess Ill be going to some ranbats...
