That is awesome, good shit. I wonder if you have enough time to jump back to the other side to fake the cross up before the 2D hits or just Alle~can. My brother adapts to shit real quick and it would be nice if that mix up would work. Can't wait to get home and try this out. Thx JG!

If there is no way to fake crossup, and your brother knows the setup and can block it, you can always late rc and backward airdash.

If it meant the difference between winning a round and losing, I'd waste the meter on it.

Well... i tested it online with a Bang ( way more easy to do this on Bang that on ragna) and he ate it. The sad thing is that i made a mistake and i could´t be able to do some combo.

But i think that this stuff is okay if you wanna have more tools in your reset side.

My goal with Carl is being able to use multiples kind of reset and be able to do big dmg combos consistently.

The reason for that is; i want ,for example, perform 2 reset and then go for a 5k or 6K combo.

When that shit result in real matchs, Jesus Christ... is better than taking away the virginity from a schoolgirl XD.

- Ambiguous version

5B 6B j.B j.C 2]D[ j.2C (wait till carl is right above opp. head) j.allegretto > combo

Similar to the first one, but with allegretto. When you do j.allegretto right on top your opponents head it can be hard to know exactly which side carl is on, the left or right. Sometimes they get crossed up and have to change their direction of block, and sometimes they don’t. Hence why it’s ambiguous. (Doesn’t work on carl, bang, ragna, arakune, rachel, tsubaki, taokaka, and makoto)

;). JG's version is the one that works on carl, bang, ragna, arakune, rachel, tsubaki, tao, and makoto.

In that vid that JG just posted, does [J.2C, Alle~can, 5B, 6B]xN work on standing on everyone in the corner? For some reason I had it in my head it only worked on crouching people.

Well i think that work with all char when they are in crounchig position. But with some other like Ragna, Bang, Hakumen, Tager, can work where they are in standing position.

The only thing that i can say, that is really usefull. Im starting to do that combo a lot more online and the good side is that dosnt use Nirvana gauge and can end in UB situation.

Man, you and Zong were dropping combos as much as I do, lololol.

Umm, only real suggestion I can give is that with both of you, if you hit with the doubleclap or whatever it is that makes them fall fast, you should follow up immediately with j2c allecan 5c volante>whatever. Can prolly do it into 4d for more damage, but yeah. Whenever I hit them with an AA clap that drops 'em quick, I do that and it leads into 4.5k pretty easily, rather than doing something like 5b jb 8d 3 times and having it do 2.5k (was what Zong did, anyway).

I'll be looking over these vids more later, mainly to see how you handle certain MUs. I wish there were sound, though. :(

use airgrab as a sort of AA when they're doing weak jump ins (2:34 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFeU4YnGGYY&feature=related)

While it's risky (and I'm sure you know about it), if Litchi is gonna shoulder-check ya, you can viva through it and put that ho in a sammich (2:38, same match)

@ 3:13 I think you were kinda nervous, I dunno. Buuut, instead of 2a, 5b, 6b, 6d, 5b, 6b, j2c

I thiiiiiiink you could (and should) have gone for 2a, 5b, 6b, j.b, j.c, j.b, 2b, 3c+2d unblockable

Or if you think he's gonna srk outta the unblock, just do 2b~2d and block.

That'll give you like... 6-8k worth of damage, depending on what combos you know off the unblock/which part of it hits them (if you do the "hard-to-blockable")

And last but not least: If you're stuck in the corner for an extended duration, get an IB>nirvana summon, soz you can have her SRK you outta trouble. There were a bunch of times where he'd set/move his staff and you had ample opportunity to summon Nirvana for some defense. If you're risky (read: stupid) like I am, you can also summon her, roll, and try to set up a sandwich (I do this whenever she's done a guard point/some fake pressure shiz and I know the shoulder check is coming up). I might just be bullshitting, but I think that 6d goes through the shoulder check, netting you a fatty CH combo.

When u say nirvana SRK do u mean Brio? i've never though to summon -> brio as a reversal, is it's hit box able to really do that on standing opponents in NCO?

The thing about Brio is once it reaches a certain point, it's coming out no matter what. So if someone keeps doing jump mixups/overheads that put them in the air, brio can normally snag them. I don't really use 6a much because it seems to put me in a dangerous situation. I mean, if I know ragna's coming in with j.c, I'll have it out, but against things like Bang's jumping shenanigans, I'd rather block until I can summon, and then try to go for a sandwich from there.

Another reason I do it is because the only time I'm ever really worried is when I'm in the corner. When I've been comboed into the corner, I normally have taken enough damage to have heat for CA/punching super reversals. I dunno, there are plenty of other ways to get away, I just like having Nirvana nearby so my jab can go into resets/crossups/sandwich/all of the above. Feels good, man.
