[CPE] V-13 Combo Thread

btw, Does Nu have any CT combos?

There's the challenge mode combo that uses CT. There's also an oki set-up that I've seen a high-level Nu player use.

theres a few but i haven't gotten to experimenting with CT yet.

 

 

2B>3C>214D~C>665A>6A>6C>236[D]>665DD>236D~C>3C>236D>214B (2917, +21/-0)

 

 

Air drives ender is actually ok in the corner if you do 5DD>j.DD>j.2DD>j.6DD>j.214D

 

but second airjump makes you really not able to get real oki.

 

The OD combos in my vid were purely for show.

 

If you want a high damage corner 6B nonOD:

 

6B>5C>236D~214A>6B>6A>5C>214DC>66B>6A>5C>6C>214D>214A>236[D]>5DD>2DD>632146D (5505, +?/-50)

Any reason to not use gravity when you do 214D~C > 665A? Seems like you could up the damage quite a bit if the 5A and 6A are cut.

Its if you hit them when you don't have gravity back yet. You won't always have gravity cancel available. The optimal route is by far 214D~C>214B>236[D]>66C>66>stuff

3C > 236D~214B > 5DD > 6DD > 2DD > ender 2

 

I can't ever seem to get the 5DD to come out fast enough. My friend told me something about holding the 5D after the gravity but when I do that I don't get anything.

Help please?

Best way I've found is to do 236D and 214B as a single motion. Hold 214B so that you get the advanced input (so it comes out on the earliest frame) and then press 5D. Easiest way to practice this is just keep doing 3C > 236D~214B > 5DD.

I can't really help with the 5D thing because all I would say is go play CP1 Nu >_>

Anyways, about 214D~C~214B>236[D], it's hard, like, should I do everything as fast as possible or soemthing?

236D~C > 214C > 5B > 6A > 5C > 6C > 66 > 5B > 5C > 214D~C~214A > 6DD > 2DD > air drive ender (3422, +25/-0)

 

The 5Cs are necessary to stall long enough for the second gravity to be up. Gravity also makes the air drive ender a bit trickier because of the slow descent.

I know that I've already posted that one, but I didn't put the dmg and heat gain values and 2DD>5DD>6D>2DD is at the end instead of 6DD>2DD

OD>236[D]66(FC)>CT>214D66>6B>2C>2147D>66>j214[D]>6B>6A>214DC66>6A>6C>236DC>214A>632146D with opponent in corner.

 

 

Dunno how to set up the height properly for double 632146D OD anymore.

slightly more optimized corner throw combos

 

corner throw > 214D > 214D~C~214A > 6C > 236[D] > 6DD > 2DD > ender 2 (4044, +30/-0)

corner throw > 214D~214A > 6C > 236[D] > [5DD > 2DD]x2 > ender 2 (3910, +30/-0)

 

not high damage but might be better for oki set-ups

 

midscreen throw > 236[D] > delay 5DD > 236D~C > 3C > 236D~214B (2772, 20/-0)

How the hell do you get 214D~C~214B>236[D] to connect? Like, i'm doing it off of 3C, I just don't know how to get it work properly.

I may be remembering wrong. I think it actually has to be 5B otg>6A>214DC>214B>236[D]

Ok, you got me. Why can't I hit the 5B after 6A->214DC? I wanted to play with various routes that have been posted and see what I could come up with, and the one from the first combo in the video posted earlier has completely baffled me for the past two days. I see slight movement forward and it ain't happening for me. At this point, optimization no longer matters to me and this is a matter of pride.

You have to miicrodash after 214D~C, so 214D~C>665B

That's what I've been attempting, but I can't get it to work. I guess I just have absolutely no idea when I can act from 214DC.

You can sideswap with this combo 236D~C>6B>6A>IAD j.B>j.C |>6A>214D~C>665B>6A>6C>236[D] btw
After the j.C you do 66A, you basically just hit them the other way or whatever, kinda confusing but you still input 6C the sameway as 6A(not the opposite side like if you switched sides) and it auto-corrects to the other side.

People have told me that you have to do the motions as one and I do that but sometimes it just drops.

I've also heard that you have to hold down the 5D but that doesn't make sense as it just doesn't come out if I do that.

Just press D ONCE asap, you have all the time in the world to follow it up, so it isn't like you'll drop it just because you did the other D too late
