Online issues (unable to play people)

Recommended Posts

So, I really hoped the patch would fix this for me, but it's still happening. I can't play about half of the people online. I know I won't be able to play people when their connections show as 4s and it won't give me their R-codes. Before, the rooms would also glitch out with messages about those players leaving every time someone else comes in/leaves. What's weird is this includes even local friends that I've played online previously, PS3 and PS4 players.

Anybody know how to fix this? I'm thinking it has something to do with me using a JP digital share version of the game, I guess? Really seems like that shouldn't matter, but I can't think of anything else. I have NAT 2 on cable, wired, not using anything else at the time.

I've been having the same thing happen for a few months now. I even put my router into DMZ mode to see if it was a port forwarding issue, and it didn't change a thing.

I've had this issue rarely but I know how it is. Quitting out of lobby to menu and going back in usually helps me but my problem isn't as bad as yours.
