Nerfs or Buffs each character should recieve, GGAC Edition

If you make BL his FB, everyone would cry about getting taken to the corner with gravedigger, than getting 1 hit badlands for like an 80% combo because the damage would obviously have to go up. shit makes no sense.

I believe the idea was to make it a FB exactly as is, so it wouldn't do any more damage.

Hey I got one.

How about making Anji's GP overdrive PLAYABLE. Not necessarily amazing, but something I don't have to feel bad about landing (since I had to fucking earn it).

I'd rather have his moves with guard point properties improved (or bring back its old properties) rather than improving one or all of its its follow-ups. In that way, his GP follow-ups would still stay decent (not too powerful and not that useless) but it would make them more "accessible" in a match. For one, his low GPs are almost useless compared to the low moves it is supposed to block.

thought of a less important one for Ky: buff lightning strike (222H) it's just not really useful, and it looks cool and I want it to be usefulm. Not sure how to buff it. maybe an FRC point and have it launch the enemy into the air (more), so you can do an air combo. please.:kitty:

Lightning Strike (222H) can be buffed so it's active for long enough to nail the opponent's wake-up. How does that sound? If Ky can also recover fast enough after the Lightning Strike so he can do something to the opponent's wake-up backdash (which will get the opponent out of the Lightning Strike), that'll be nice too.

you mean that it hits them is they wake up? because I would have so many lulz if it did and had knockdowm. they should make it faster.... or in general make it more worth it, rather than a (pretty bad) coupe de gras.

Yea, the buffed Lightning Strike hits the opponent as he wake up. So it basically works like his cross (air D), it prevents the opponent from doing anything at his wake-up (except DP, backdash, and other invincible moves). But if the cross can be done when Ky is close enough to the opponent, the Lightning Strike can be done far from him. So I imagine situations where Ky has gotten the opponent knocked down far away from him (though I dunno what kind of combos/setups do such thing). In such situations, the buffed Lightning Strike will be useful.

hhmm..... 236K puts them far away, 236D~214D~46D also (not recommended), and reverse corner (reversal out of corner) VT>LJ. Basically it would be tool against characters you wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole: Potemkin (AGGH), Raoh, slayer (?), moroha aba, etc. that would be nice. just make it not a "flashy" move and make it a tactical zoning/oki tool, so I guess less recovery, faster start up, longer active frames...... and I guess a damage nerf to keep it even. Alternatively, just make a pimpin' FB version, because Ky needs more shit to waste tension on:v:.

Ky kicking butts with Holy Lightning From Heaven should be very interesting to see. :kitty: Should attract a lotta newbies. :kitty:

Here's a thought for Anji.

Fuujin K followup FRC at the beginning.

Keeps hop momentum, but allows for silly air orb/j.H shenanigans.
