Runis Report post Posted November 1, 2009 As great as our Noel guide is, it only briefly touches on the Haida-Loop (22C loop) and doesn't have character specific combo's. So I thought I'd just create a list of Combos. This guide isn't to teach you how to play, that's what the beginner guide is for. So if you don't understand what's going on here, I advise you check out the beginner's guide first. I'll update this list with more Character specific combos (not just Haida) periodically. (Note: Click links for vids!) (Note 2: The number of asterisks before the combo is the difficulty. 1 being easy, 10 being insane.) (Note 3: all damages are APPROXIMATE UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED) Now the Haida-loop in its base form, is *3C 22C 6C 22C 66C 22C 66C 22C 66C jc jC(3) 236C (~4.5k) Some characters, like Jin, it's best if you try to hit them low, and delay the moves a bit(although if you do another 22C instantly after the 4th one, you can hit him high, dash in with 66C and complete a 5k combo), but for characters like Tager/Bang, you want to do it asap. Ragna is kinda a mix in that the first part you want to do low, but after the 3rd 22C you want to do the 4th one immediately, and then sjc into jB jc jB jC(3) j236C Then for the small characters (Nu/Carl) you might need to alter it. Nu's is *****3C 22C 66C(B+C) 6C 22C 66C(B+C) 6C 22C 66C jc jB jC(2) j236C Haida doesn't seem to work on Carl, So instead do *3C 22BC 66C 5D 28D 66C jc jC(3) jB jc jB jC(3) j236C. (~3.5k) Now that the standard Haida is out of the way, now comes for the Character Specific versions. ------------------RACHEL-------------------------------- Corner - ****3C, 22BC x4, 66C, 5D, 5B, 6B, 5C, 236D, 6C, 2367C (~6.1k) or ******3C, 22BC x5, 66, 236236D, 6C, 2367C. (does more damage and is unburstable for most part, but uses 50% heat and is significantly harder to do.) (~7k) Midscreen - *****3C, 22BC x2, 66C, 22B, 22C, 66C, 22C, 66C, 22C, 66C, jC(3), 236C (~5k) or ****3C, 22BC x2, 66C, 5D, (6B 5C) x 2, 236D, (~4.2k) Midscreen to corner - **********3C, 22BC, 632BC x3, 66C, 5D, 5B, 5C, 236D, 6C, 2369C (~6.2k) ----------------------JIN---------------------------------- Mid screen - *****663C, 22BC, 22C, 66C, 22C x2, 66C, 22C, 66C, jC(3), 236C (This is a really awkward loop in that the 3C must be done at point blank whilst dashing and cannot be a counter hit.) (~6.5k) *****3C 6C 22C 66C 22C 22C 66C 22C 66C jc jC(3) 236C (~4.5k) Corner - All the mid screen combo's work (although they can be distance specific) ***3C 22C 6C 22C 22C 6C 22C 22C 6C jc jC(3) j236C (~4.5k) *****3C 22BC 22C 22C 6C 22C 6C 5D d.5B d.6B d.5C d.236D(2) 6C(1) jc END OF COMBO.(~6k) (after the final 6C, they can tech almost instantly. I can't land a 2369C at all =/. It's also extremely range dependent, but I think a Blocked Rehhyou in the very corner should push you out to optimal distance.) ^^^^Further testing showed me that instead of the above combo, you can do ******3C 22BC 22Cx3 6C 5B 6B 5C 236D 6C 2369C for slightly more damage, but I much prefer the position that the 6C jc puts me at. Jin says something different for each different tech, so basically just wait till he shouts "I'M TECHING BACK/FORWARD NAO, K THX BYE"(Note: He doesn't literally say this.) and then Green air throw him into more damage. severin Report post Posted November 2, 2009 Quick question regarding 22BC. Is the input 22B+C, 22B~C, 22B > 22C? The timing has always seemed weird for me. (Okay, everyone's timing is weird compared to my EZ-MODO character)
Runis Report post Posted November 2, 2009 Depends on which one, 22BC means you press 22 then B then C, Where as 22B 22C means you press 22 then B, then press 22 again, then C 22B~C for me means that you press 22B slight pause C.

Runis Report post Posted November 2, 2009 I can possibly do short vids (like they have for the Nu combo thread) that shows the combo's, but I don't have a capture card and I'd be recording with a digital camera, not a camcorder... So don't expect the best quality.
NinjaSYXX Report post Posted November 2, 2009 short vids would be nice, i'm having trouble haida-looping the "smaller" characters like carl, etc. BTW big big thanks!
Runis Report post Posted November 3, 2009 I'm attaching vids to some of these now - currently have some Jin ones done.
Runis Report post Posted November 4, 2009 Some rachel vids done. I had more (Ragna, Carl, Nu) but my camera deleted them.
Axle_the_red Report post Posted November 4, 2009 When can you 66 in these combos? I'm not sure if I'm too early, too late, just wrong...but I can't EVER get that dash in there (for this combo or ANY for that matter).
Nitrocidal Report post Posted November 4, 2009 The dash is usually done 66C, so right after a 22C. I know for the 66C (B+C) 66C etc combos you do it when she bobs her head frm the grab, or at least that's how I got started until it became timing muscle memory. But the 22C dashes came naturally, so I don't know quite how to explain it.
excelence Report post Posted November 5, 2009 Practicing corner 3c>22bc>22c>22c>6c>22c at this point if i do the follow up(66c>5d>...) the drive won't connect as Jin floats too high, any tips?
ioKain Report post Posted November 5, 2009 You gotta delay that last 22C as long as you can. Maybe that 6C too. Just slow down the last part and you should be good.
excelence Report post Posted November 5, 2009 Thx, slowing down 6c>22c is really hard >_< .
Runis Report post Posted November 5, 2009 It's the 66C you need to slow the most TBH. Nice to see people trying these things out though. Just uploading the Basic Ragna loop and the Carl alternative.
Neo_Q8 Report post Posted November 5, 2009 glad to see these combos being posted :D been looking for them forever. but timing is kinda hard need countless times of training. thanks Runis edit: you can do this to tager too 3C, 22C, 66C, 22C, 6C, 22C, 66C, 22C, 66C, 22C, 6C, 22C, jC(2), 236C 5940dmg midscreen
BlaqCat Report post Posted November 8, 2009 Much thanks for this. I've tried to figure out alot of these myself, and couldn't get the timing/imputs right. Great thread for me to reference back to when I think I've screwed something up ^_^
AnguzBeef Report post Posted November 9, 2009 Thnx so much. I practiced alot, im starting to lose it tho. For some reason after the 22c my 6c doesn't reach about half the time. I am walking before i do it. Do i have to delay the 22c or do i have to delay the 6c or what? If it works I can do the wrest of the combo without to much of a problem.
Runis Report post Posted November 10, 2009 Depends on what distance you are when you 3C and what character it is. Most characters at point blank only need you to walk a bit and 6C. others need a 66C. Nu in particular requires a 66C to land on her, but depending on range also needs a (B+C) 6C to continue it. At the optimal max range against Nu, 3C 22BC 66C 22C 66C 5D 6B 5C 6B 5C 6B 236D is the best(best reliability to damage) combo to use on her. Otherwise you're probably best off just doing 3C 22BC 66C (slight delay) 5D 6B 5C 6B 5C 236D And although I practice Haida loop to the point where I can land them like 95% of the time, I still tend to use the drive BNB anyway. Albeit I know that you can put a 2nd 22C 66C in before starting it =p.
AnguzBeef Report post Posted November 12, 2009 Why do you do it instead? More damage?
Runis Report post Posted November 12, 2009 1. It's easier. 2. It gives grounded knockdown as opposed to aerial knockdown 3. RC'ing to punish bursters is easier. 4. Less hits so people burst randomly less often. But mostly because I don't fuck it up. Haida combo requires me to practice it all the time to get consistently, and the only character's I'm consistent with are Jin and Rachel ( who I do tend to use Haida combo's over the Drive BNB, because Haida is about 1200 more damage than BNB)
iw2ma Report post Posted November 12, 2009 ya I really need to start practicing in general. I never practice for any game lol but these Haida combos are seriously character specific so I need to actually sit down and do this crud.
