[CT] Noel Combo Thread: Welcome to the Haida-Loop

Recommended Posts

Then I assume you mean near corner? With corner I mean: enemy pressed up against the corner, with me touching him. Can't figure out how this combo could work without a 4 somewhere in it. All in all the combo is nice, but I doubt I'll use it on anyone other than Noel/Jin/Rachel, maybe Ragna (even tho his timing is somewhat different to the other 3) It's easy on those 3, but on Haku/Nu/Bang the timing is iffy and the full combo doesn't work on Tao and Kune/Carl at all. Not enough for me to make it a true BnB. Still a great find.

Halycone's combo will do 4.2k if you add another 6c after the last 22c. I've gotten it to work with Rachel, Ragna, and Tager. Otherwise stick to the 4k version.

Just a note, on the Rachel corner combo if you do another 22c after the DD it does more damage than 6c 2367C. Also you can DD again after the first DD for 8.5k. Still working on my combo video. :3

If anyone still cares about CT, I've been practicing a haida-loop against Nu which does just over 5000 damage... 3C, 22BBC, 66C, 22B, 22C, 66C, 22C, 66C, 22C, 66C, jc, j.C, 236C = ~5k The timing is a bit weird. If you are right next to Nu as you start the combo, do a 22BBC to get her a good distance away from you. If you are a bit far away, either don't 22B at all, or only press B once so she goes a bit further. The 22B afterward just has to hit Nu so she can stay on the ground, and follow up with a 22C. When you 66C, make sure she is somewhat near the ground, and then 22C. For the last part, 66C as soon as possible and 22C right after so you can 66C her in the remainder of the combo. The most I've been able to do was about 5,138 damage, I think. It's weird at first, but the timing is easy once you get it down. Because online Nus love backdashing, a well guessed 3C can bring their health down by about 70%. Once again though, unless you completely master it, it's not exactly a good idea to always go for it, as you'll most likely drop the combo. Still, bring a Nu down like that is always satisfying.

The above combo works on Jin and Bang also, I've been playing around with that one, too. :p

It actually works with Ragna and Noel also, but I feel like they don't really need it. Nu is difficult to pull off as it is, and having the above combo for her works well.

If anyone has a niconico account, they can check this out. It has most of the hider loops but the quality of the video might be bad.

EDIT: These are done by DBAikouka.

so continuing on my quest to mess around with haida combos cuz i just love dribbling my opponent, i found this for rachel in corner only: 6B->6C->2C->3C->22BC (x3)->66C->5D->5B->6B->5C->236D->6C->2367C (a little bit more than 5k) though apparently 2C hits either once or twice at random (i think it has to do with whether u were dashing before the 6B), but if it hits once u still do almost 5k damage, plus only 1 hit from 2C makes the rest of the combo less timing-tight. And if you screw up the timing of the 236D and it hits only once, u still got ~4.5k damage plus kd. rathe situational so probably not very useful, but just thought i'd share :)

I too have found out about the somewhat random 2c hit (either once or twice) and I think it has to do with when you cancel 6C into 2C. I might be totally wrong, but I feel if you wait a split second to input 2C after 6C it seems to hit twice always, or at least more often. Mashing 6C > 2C seems to score me one hit more often than two. Also range seems to be a factor as well. the closer you are, the easier it is to score 2 hits.

2c lasts longer depending on how long you hold the button down. You can cancel it into 3c after one or two hits depending on when you press 3c.

More importantly I've decided to save my efforts and make a combo video for CS instead after it comes out, but instead of letting all of my recorded clips go to waste, I'll upload them here for this topic. More coming soon.

There are many versions of midscreen haida on Jin. Based on how far you were when 3c hit, you can do:

(Point blank) 3c 22c (walk forward slightly) 6c (delayed) 22c 66c 22b 22c 66c 22c 66c j.c 236c (4.7k)

(Point blank) 3c 22bc 22c [66c 22b 22c]x2 66c 2d 28d (5k)

(Close-medium range) 3c 22c 66c bc 6c 22b 22c 66c (delayed) 22c 66c j.c 236c (4.7k)

(medium-far) 3c 22c 66c 22b 22c 66c (delayed) 22c 66c j.c 236c (4.7k)

Then off of 214a, you can do

214a 2b 6c bc 6c (slightly delayed) 22b 22c 66c 22c 66c j.c 236c (4.4k)

Many of these work on Ragna/Noel/Bang too, but the timing is slightly different.

My quest to find stupid combos continue, and this time it's a Ragna specific one.

6a 6c j.c(1) j.d 28d 6c 22c 66c 22c j.c 236c (3742)

Edit: Does not work if 6a is CH -_-

I haven't got it to work on any other character. Ragna is the only character that I've found who drops at the perfect distance after the 28d. If you add anything before 6a though, say j.c 5a, the combo doesn't work. You probably have to cut out the last 22c and just go for 2d 28d or j.c 236c.

As far as I know I think this is the only combo that starts w/ 6a that can lead to semi-haida loop.

...I know, nobody cares about CT anymore, I'm just so bored waiting for CS T_T

An additional loop vs. Ragna

Airthrow 2b 6c bc 6c (delay) 22c 66c 22c 66c j.c 236c (4315)

Against Bang (These are extremely easy and useful)

3c 22c (slight delay) 66c 22b 22c 66c 22b 22c 66c (right away) 22c j.c 236c (4623)

add 6b for 3900 damage.

214a 2b 6c (slight delay) 22b 22c 66c 22b 22c 66c j.c 236c (4590)

The same combo works after an airthrow and it nets 4425 damage.

Against Tao

214a 2b 6c bc 6c (delayed) 22c 66c 22c 66c j.c 236c (4413)

Airthrow 2b 6c (slight delay) 22b 22c 66c 22c j.c 236c (4131) (6c before j.c is hard to connect, if not impossible)

Generally I find it tough to loop Tao, for some reason she techs earlier and gets launched farther after 22b 22c =/

Against Arakune

Airthrow 2b 6c (very slight delay) 22b 22c 66c 22c 66c j.c 236c (4362)

214a 2b 6c (very slight delay) 22b 22c 66c 22c 66c j.c 236c (4449)

vs Arakune I feel like I'm missing a tick of 236c or j.c somewhere, and I just can't superjump mid-haida to save my life.

These are definitely lower damage than the ones on Tager/Haku/Jin and trade oki for a few hundred more damage, but they're pretty easy to execute. I'm going to use them for style points only ^^

So I'm not too sure if this combo is well known, or if it's even posted in this thread, but I was messing around one day and I found a haida loop that is fairly easy to do. It works on Ragna, Jin, Noel, Rachel, Nu, Tager, Hakumen and Bang. Depending on the distance you can change the first 22BBC to a 22BC.

3C 22BBC 66C 22B 22C 66C 22B 22C 66C 22C j.C 236C (5k damage)

Any input as to whether or not this combo can be improved would be great appreciated.

Hahaha how do you guys possibly memorize all the character specific Haida loops? I might pick up noel for funs sake but with all the character specific I'm seeing and the lack of bnb's I'm seeing(none wtf) I don't know if I'd have time between other characters. Is there something that I'm seriously missing?

Too bad I have to revive the thread but it is awesome and I have only access to Calamity Trigger on PC...

After a long break from BB I decided to brush my Noel combo skills and here is the HD video of that Litchi Haida loop for any future or present people still needing information on Calamity Trigger. The input is also visible

On Litchi:

3C, 22BC, 66C, 22C, 6C, 22C, 66C, 22C, 66C, 22C, 6C, jC(2), 236C (~5.6k)

You have no idea how much would I love to play newer BlazBlue versions, unfortunately I'm stuck with PC only...

Edit: Oh, my video can be edited in the first post of this thread (since the combo listed there doesn't have a video example)
