why do people like slash

i've been playing it a bit at the local gatherings here for awhile and so far i hate it.

slash johnny is so fucking braindead it hurts. mash jackhound; if it lands, do a combo- if they block it, you get a free mixup anyways. divine blade leads into 50% combos, so dumb crossups are hella good (doesn't even have the spacing dependency of killer joker in ac or the late frc for baiting shit). 5K is burst safe because bursts are slow as shit in this game, so you get free burst punishes all day. no throw breaks (in a game with so much blockstun, lmao) so niggas just tick throw you all day like it's fucking st. and to top it all off, combos in this game are hella boring; basically just reload combos in slow motion.

i know there's some diehard slash fanboys here so i wanna give them a chance to redeem themselves and explain why they prefer it over ac. if i'm missing something here, tell me what it is; because if this is all the game has to offer, i can't see how anyone could possibly prefer it over ac.

I personally thought Slash was good though far from being as fun as #Reload. Also lol Robo Ky and OS are absolute shit.

This doesn't make the game good. I have some nostalgic feelings towards slash because it was at this time that I was with a good group of friends playing every day BUT I really do not like the game now.

Even though some characters in AC are rated as garbage (Anji, Bridget, Johnny?), they are nowhere near as bad as Slash Robo Ky, and Slash Dizzy's life is ridiculously stupid. Virtually unplayable characters FTL

i don't think i'm qualified to comment on slash's balance since i never played it during it's prime, but if people think ac is in any way unbalanced they clearly either a) do not know the game very well or b) have not played many other fighting games. or they're just weird.

Aye. I'd rather have a slightly more robust top-tier than a true trash-tier. Frankly, you can do well with JO-BR-IN in this game, whereas slash Robot was a lost cause.

And anyone who's played a good Ky in Slash knows it was almost as broke and three times as stupid as anything in the top tier of the game now (If you think forward EXE is annoying, try lv. 5 stunedge.)
