Thanks for the reply Doragonkoroshi, sorry its a bit belated, ive been playing around with EXE Beast pressure and its quite sick still not getting FRC all the time but ive been playing on and off recenlty just started a new job but im getting there. Having good fun with test i love characters with setups etc.

Is here the right place to for match up specific stuff? The matchup section is quite dead.... So any tips vs Chipp? I find i dont really get the chance to setup net/tree formations and test doesnt seem to have any 'Get of me' moves. Main problems seem to be his teleport (air/above) into that 2 hit cross up he has it doesnt seem punishable after normal block.

Sorry about not replying sooner, and I should have been more explicit. A standing opponent with just an empty tk badlands on them for and opening will only let you get the first hit of tk badlands after the relaunch without a black beat.

With a launch of some sorts before hand (examples: the opponent jumping, a net combo, a tree launch, hs beast counter or frc), you should have them high enough that the s beast is fully developed and canceled before they hit it. You will have time to connect a tk badlands after without a dash. It is easier to do on light characters, but I have done it to Sol. I think heavy characters are impossible.

This video has some s beast launch combos at 58 sec, 1min 45sec, and 3min 32sec.

why the fuck do japanese testaments end their corner exe beast pressure strings with 6hs

example : opponents in the corner, testament has a nice space between him and his opponent.

5k exe, 5s exe, dash 5s exe dash 5k exe, 6k exe, whatthefuckyouwant exe, 6HS?WTF??

if that didn't help you watch some japanese testaments play, you'll see what i'm talking about. when i get unlazy i'll link a video of it.

ok here's one ok example : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpVjTHav-CQ at 4:25

why not continue the pressure? why end it in 6hs?? i'm thinking it's got a big hitbox so it could catch jump-outs when they're far away. still, you can try and mix it up by dashing up in between strings to close the gap.

It is a terrible move to end a string with. I do find from personal experience that it does catch some people almost like a frame trap. They think they can jump out of the corner and get tagged not FDing.

On hit, it is untechable for enough time that it knocks down. On block the move is -15. It lets your opponent get in on you or punish you for free. The move does have an FRC that makes it up to +9 on block. That is expensive though. A forward exe is the same for no cost.

In your example video, it was just bad. It gave LOX a free out. Shonen tried to block a possible IAD escape with jK, but he gave up all momentum for no reason. He could have FRCed it, but he just resigned himself to a worse position.

Hi,

I dont really understand when I need the tk BL. I trained vs Faust. I did the throw > 6k > BL >BL. I thought it should be throw 6k> BL> tk BL?

For lightweights you do 6K > BL > tk BL xN

Mid/Heavy it's 6K > BL > tk BL > 5K/6K/5H (depending on char/spacing) > BL > tk BL > ender
