GF FRC (AC+)

Recommended Posts

I need help getting the timing right, and also is there a change of moves (like start up frames etc) from AC to AC+?

There's a couple visual cues. The one I like is right when his sword first hits the ground and the flames are just about to come out. Another involves his hair and how it's flowing at the FRC point. You can get consistent with it once you get a feel for the timing though, I usually go off muscle memory more than the visual cues. Put on input display in training and it will flash when you need to put the FRC in.

And no, it's the same in AC and AC+.

any easy way of executing FRC? it's really hard on dpad to do those(not to mention GV) i use my R button for the 3 attack so i can RC more easily.is this advisable? and also is this banned in tournament play(about the 3 attack button that was bind to my shoulder button)?

I find it easiest to press X+O+Triangle with my thumb. You can use a L/R button to do it if you want, I think it depends on the tournament whether or not it would be banned. Most I've been to wouldn't care.

Don't VV on wakeup if they expect you to do that. Wait until you know they're running to get you on wakeup and catch them. Use 5K for both antiair and to start bnbs. Use 2D, 5HS, 2S, 2P, and 2K for advancing/pokes/pressure.

A good tick throw for Sol would be 2K that is blocked, then while the other player is still in blockstun, run up and grab them with Wild throw. Be careful not to do BR on accident. It's better to learn how to GF FRC on muscle memory. Do what VR-Raiden said and practice in training mode until it becomes natural. It's a very important part of Sol's gameplay.

Try to find and watch match videos with Sol players Kishikata, Kusoru, isa before he switched mains to Eddie, P.C., 012, all good for figuring out strategies and whatnot.

Watch matches with him playing, it's even more hilarious with what he does.

Kusoru did a combination of Slashback (block and alternate pressing S and HS), FD and used VV to clash the explosion followup. Well, learning to max out GV is hard. You mash on S and HS and move the D-pad/stick back and forward. The clean hit is different for everyone, like Sidewinder is. I don't know if he has a website or accepts apprentices. All I know is the brother is a beast with Sol. Everything he does is a result of him having this crazy ability to learn everything possible Sol can do. Here, watch this other CM where Kusoru decides to screw around with AC+ training mode and extra options.:yaaay:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YuDwzACPUdU
