Squared Report post Posted December 8, 2010 I ask this because I'm not sure whether or not to wait a little before executing a TO post VV or does it not matter due to the untechable time after vv?
Arvoyea Report post Posted December 8, 2010 If you're talking about the knockdown (most likely), it should be done before the other person has a chance to tech. From Sol Badguy 101 [ver. Accent Core] thread by Spirit Juice-san. Tataki Otoshi (214K after VV) - Not much to say here. It's the follow up kick to VV that sends the opponent plummeting downward for knockdown (untechable for 30F). At most heights it will knockdown.

sagacious Report post Posted December 18, 2010 -if the opponent's guard bar is low enough, you want the followup as fast as possible. for instance, in most wild throw -> things-and-three-sidewinders combos, if you end with jx->vv, the followup is actually black beat (your opponent might not tech anyway, heh) (which is why you want to end those combos with bandit revolver instead) -if you do a grounded vv on johnny, the followup is always black beat. but this isn't true for the air vv, for some reason. lol johnny
