I guess this means no more CH j.c > 5c. :(

Hammer instant guard crush sounds incredible though.

You can do j.C > 5C without having to land a CH, in fact it should be the go-to confirm whenever you land a j.C :v:

j.C CH is so ridiculous that you can usually have enough time to dash under your opponent and 5C them to switch sides. I can't say I'm too taken back knowing that the untechable time got reduced a bit.

Can't wait to get my hands on Plat and work on some MJ OD combos.

Edit: I slapped some of those moonrunes on the Google translator and I at least found out that Falling Melody does a fixed 300 points of damage as opposed to 400. Meh, not too much of a deal.

The times I've managed to get out the corner doing this was a godsend.

Platinum wasn't very experienced, it looked. Seemed to either be doing a lot of misinputs (2B > 2C :v) or just wanted to try out Platinum for a bit. That whiffed 6C made me cringe...

In any case, there's a part where he tried 5C > 6C > J.b

J.B came out really fast. 6C cancel faster? Or could it always do that?

There's a frying pan combo in there, sorta. J.D > 5A > 6A stuff

And off of an air combo. J.D pan doesn't bounce as high anymore, it seems.

6A. I can see this is gunna be used a lot more into combos now. At least, a prediction.

Can't wait till the 22nd to see people get into the game and experiment.

I think the Air Persia changes deserve some attention if these nerfs stick.

Oh ho ho, I like that mid-screen Mami > present box. Looks like you'll be getting quite a bit of damage if you happen to have a present box at the right place and at the right time.

Ugh, Sena's new voice is awful. Luna's in the other hand is as adorable as it should have been lol.

The worse nerf of them all. Other than that, Platinum still looks good. These item buffs are pretty dope (Bomb increased Untech da gawd, F.Pan, and Cat looks waaaay faster), and Happy Magica actually being an attack instead of being is pretty awesome too.

Assuming rolls still work the same, it looks like Happy Magica has a very short charge time. because that Platinum did it very quickly after neutral teching

He was more than likely holding down throughout the duration of his knockdown. So it would be buffered during the very first neutral frame that he had. So it could still be pretty long. I really don't think it is though, since this IS an ASW game, and their charges are really fast anyway.

I'm liking her changes, her items honestly look better now than in Extend. The loss of hammer loops is okay with me if we get a guard crush from it every time. j.D with the Pan looks crazy and the Cat Hammer does indeed look like it's faster.

I wonder how many active frames the doll on Happy Magica has. It was out long enough for Ragna to jump into the air and Berial Edge into it anyway lol.

I noticed Platinum only gets 2 presents at a time now. In earlier loketests she used to get 4.

That thing was out there for about a second or more lol. What's even more interesting is that you can combo afterwards, I'm guessing that on CH only and maybe she was only able to combo off of it that one time because she hit Ragna during what seemed to be the end of its active frames.

We'll see how it shapes up in the end but I'm guessing that characters will be able to punish Plat if they jump cancel the move that got caught by the counter.

It looks like it prorated badly anyway when she got a combo from it. It would be pretty silly if she could snag decent damage from the move. At the very least she can RC it when it's triggered.

Reversal type moves usually always have crappy P1. It's the meter that you get out of it which really counts.

lol, RC that shit if they block it for some frame advantage... or to avoid getting punished if they jump canceled lol.

mm, current bat > 5c > 6a > 236b is 1371, magica > same thing was about 1400? i guess if her combo rate is back up to 80%, then magica's proration might be the same as current bat. could be worse! magica looks really strong now, and after re-thinking, it's not that bad that it's a charge motion. being 2[8] has it's perks too!

present seems really strong too, can't wait to mess with cp~
