Jam vs Slayer

This Match up is Whatever its Dangerous for both players its 4 - 6 in Slayers favor

Opening:

There are a couple things that I recommend doing in this match up...

- IAD back I believe this is the best option in every single match up

- Dash up 2S this will pretty much beat everything he can do except for an early 2HS

- Dash up grab grabbing is always a good option

- Dash up 6HS if they see the grab coming this a free counter hit

Okizeme:

Besides the usual IAD 623K cross up, Choujin gimmicks you have....

- FB Puffball jam has no range and a wake up back dash puts him to far away for jam to do anything so if you see this coming FB puff is the way to go

- 6HS slayers mashing on HS wont get him a random hit but because its really slow

- Dash up grab

Punishes:

You cant really punish anything because everything he does is pretty much unpunishable for the most part the only things that you can punish are....

- Pilebunker/Crossheel

- K machpunch at close range

- 2D a close range(I think you have to IB though)

For the most part your just gonna have to hit him not punish what he does so get your mixup or parry skills up heh

Counters:

In this match there isnt much to counter everything is either unbeatable or impractical some things that you can actually use are.....

- 2S to beat Slayers 6HS

- 2D to beat Slayers 6P

Anti Airing:

Forget about it Parry or Block

I just read part of Jam's frame data sheet and it said her 6P has upper body invincibility. Since Slayers BBU has upper body invincibility wouldn't those two clash or am I just wishing?

I think it will probably be a counter for both characters. But since BBU send you to outer space on CH, after it Slayer will recovery and rape Jam a little bit.

I was playing around with the BBU vs. 6.p and I found out that 6.hs can completely counter it plus put him behind you for a crossup. Don't believe me go in training mode and try it.

Wouldn't you have to time your 6H perfectly? I mean, 6H can cancel quite a few things, but I wouldn't try to cancel BBU with it :/ If it lands you can kiss your HP's goodbye.

The thing I didn't get in his sentence is the cross up comment. 6h and cross up aren't exactly used together. And regardless of what works, there is no reason to do anything but block if you know BBU is coming.

Slayer:2s 2s 2s 2s 2s plus 2d cos Jam can't block low What was meant by crossup is that if Jam does 6hs and Slayer does BBU at the right time, Slayer will get hit (I think) but end up behind Jam. It's like how Johnny and Slayer go through each other when Johnny does 6k and Slayer BBU.

If you hit 6.hs a couple of frames after his BBU start up you'll counter him plus he'll pass completely through you. It's basically when he's just moving forward to shoot you to the moon.
