Guide: How to change music on GGXX:AC Wii editions

Recommended Posts

This is the NGO, only here to post about how to change music on GGXX:AC for Wii. There are two methods on how to do them, and they are listed as:

  • Wii ISO & Loader
  • Riivolution

Here is how to make custom music tracks (generally). You will need:

    • Audacity
    • dBPoweramp Music Converter
    • BCSM-GUI

      1. Make sure your music files have been edited properly to fit or exceed the original music length. (Use Audacity).
      2. If your music is not in MP3/WAV/OGG/FLAC, then please use dBPoweramp to do so.
      3. Now put your completed and ready music files into a specific folder you want to convert them to BRSTM.
      4. Now start up BCSM-GUI and choose your folder containing your ready-made music files.
      5. Convert all those musics into BRSTM, and disable loop (The official BRSTMs do NOT have looping)
      6. When they are done, move on to any route mentioned above.

Here is how to change the game music via ISO (WiiScrubber is required):

[*]Open your GGXX:AC ISO via WiiScrubber.[*]Expand the Game Partition and music folders.[*]Replace the musics you want with your customized, finished BRSTMs in the "library" directory from BCSM-GUI[*]Keep doing the process, but it will take longer than expected.[*]Burn the game onto DVD-R or store it in your HDD and you are ready to go.

Here is how to change the game music via Riivolution (Get the non-HBC kit in one of the MKWii YouTube videos):

[*]Download the necessary Riivolution kit and put the SD files into the SD/SDHC card root.[*]Put your BRSTMs in a directory called "ggxxac/My Stuff"[*]Download the XML files for GGXXAC and GGXXAC+ below and put them in your SD/SDHC card's "riivolution" directory[*]When it is done, start up your Wii with the same SD/SDHC inserted, then begin Riivolution via Homebrew Channel (if you have HBC) or SD Card Menu (if you do not have HBC)[*]Turn on the "'My Stuff' Folder" option in Riivolution and launch your Accent Core or AC Plus retail disc. The custom music should take effect.
