214A~C is a glorious FT as well, and if you get the CH, it just saved you the RC to combo out of it, and it doesn't affect protation at all.

214A/C~D still good for punishing mash. She have tools for everything in offence. Just go into corner or confirm CH for rape. 214A~C can be beaten only on ib or with invulnerable attack.

Seriously though, setting an orb on neutral is basically saying "choose your favourite CH combo to perform", except for some characters. Such as Carl or Tager, given that they are a decent way over on the other side of the screen. Doesn't help that it clashes even with stuff like Jin's Ice Swords now.

Anyways, I think a bit of disappointment, whining or analysis of the new character is fine. Heck, I was really bummed to experience the nerfs first hand as well. Just give people time to adapt to the changes and make the most of what we got now. After all, it is a whole new (worse) character.

recovery on orb is waaaaay to much, 60F/73F for launch lv3 =(it could be useful if Makoto broke her legs, but you can waste this time to trying dash 2A with better succes.

curious on what is optimal combo from a 5a midscreen? because i don't think 5a 5b 5cc 214 a-ccccc connects? Maybe it's just me sucking.
I would assume that it would connect, don't see why not. As for optimal, 5B > 6A > 5B > 5CC > etc. does the most damage.

It connects, just to be sure to buffer 214A-C during 5CC.

Only way of getting that to work online and not randomly drop it offline.

I'm still finding oddities with 3C that wasn't in CS2 when it comes to certain moves it used to beat clean. Unless a lot of hitbox changes was done to moves that didn't need them.

its not about hitbox science, its all about attribute.

from the 6th frame to the 27th frame you are invulnerable to any move that doesn't have Foot attribute. bursts hitbox reach your hurtbox but you are invul to it.

I would have to disagree with you StarGazer, the 3C invul is far from being anything near what is was in CS2, you'll see what I mean once you try it out, I used to be able to 3C rachel's distortion and get a CH in CS2 while in CSEX the last hit hits me. And this is only one example from many.

Nothing changed on the frame data, even if the hitbox changed it wont be a big deal because the move ability to avoid hits have nothing to do with hitboxes in the first place.

Small request, since tonight I'm trying to record as many combos as I can to try to finish my video on Monday. I need CH combos that aren't character specific. I'll add whatever I hadn't noted down already.

The B+C > 214AA > 6A works on Makoto, Carl, and Arakune?

im not to sure i just noted whatever is on video, i have yet to test it out. But i do believe it is character specific. Same goes with this combo

Dash 5b after the level3 5d wiffs too, on certain characters,so it is character specific. I'll check in to it sometime when i am free.
