Thanks for the update Tong! I've added the combos into the thread and set them up for damage/heat count once that info has been found out.

EDIT: Updated the thread with some more combos. Those that have the game, if you find any errors in the combos, post up so the corrections may be made.

Also, I will be playing on Monday but since it's not a private session, I won't have much time with it but I will try to remember all these combos and see what works and what doesn't.

So am I totally missing something, or are the damage values for almost everything here off?

I just got the game yesterday and everything on this page is doing seemingly less damage, unless I'm doing something really wrong.

If you were fighting someone in Awakening Mode, then they have a defense boost.

Hah, I didn't know that! I knew something was wrong. I'll try to get the damage totals for the combos on here that don't have it.

When you guys say 5D starter are you referring to when 5D OTG's because the opponent doesn't tech? It's the only way I can visualize solshido's combo working.

in my combo im talking about the 5D oki. In mash's combo hes talking about the late tech

No, I'm talking about when you hit with 5D starter. Last time I checked, start means beginning, so the first hit.

Have the combos changed in the console version? Some of these aren't working for me.

i.e.:

5AA > 5B > 2B > 5C > 214D (Swift Strike):

214D just isn't landing.

nvm, seems they have to be crouching. OP doesn't mention this.

You can do that combo on a standing opponent too, just do it all as fast as possible. Hitstun on the 5C isn't very long so it helps to buffer in the 214D during the 5C.
