Order-Sol vs. Potemkin

That's exactly what I feared for US AC+ when I heard they were doing "bug" fixes. it doesn't seem to be in the arcade version or US AC from all that I've encountered, so you just basically confirmed for me why I'm going to refuse to play on AC+ in tournaments. well, that and the horrific load times I've had to suffer with it.

Something I started developing when I was going to be a Pot player was landing PBs anytime the (computer player) came into range. The easiest part was landings. If I landed next to the training dummy that hits back, PB was buffered before I hit the ground and P was pressed the frame I landed. The opponent landed next to me? PB. We both hit the ground at the same time? PB. Point being, watch where you land and do something that's going to take effect on the very next frame to avoid PB if you or Pot is going to land in range. You land dead on your feet anywhere near Pot without a next-frame plan, you're going back up again, only with two giant flaming hands wrapped around you. Even against scrub Pots, like me. Pot's J.s makes for an awesome and easy PB tick throw which leaves you about 1 frame to escape. Make your time, Pot has set us up the Buster. Pot's only real mobility is hammerfall break (if he jumps outside of oki or a combo you shouldn't let him get away with it), which is pretty good for a character that supposedly can't dash, but it's easily messed with by closing in, as the hammerfall becomes unbreakable if you get anywhere near him, leaving Pot at the mercy of fast spammable attacks (IAD j.p might be very cool for this purpose). As Hintalove pointed out, heat knuckle is actually quite vulnerable, as it's not a strike so much as a ground to air grab, the hittable hit box extends with the hitting hit box (I know, adjective fail), but most characters don't have something like OS's J.p. Pot's sweep is also probably amongst the most awesome normals in the game, as it reaches as far as any of OS's normals and is vulnerable for only half that distance (and not the half he'll be hitting you with). Try to avoid getting tripped up. Gunblaze, when timed right, slides very neatly under Pot's 5HS; which also happens to be one of his best pokes (he should use it mostly for long range). Also, his 5HS does NOT link from his gatlings on block or standing hit. And to correct/append ReaVer: when he defends, do not attack him with slow recovery moves when he isn't in blockstun, as backdash PB is a staple. So, basically, no dashing in with 5HS, and you shouldn't be trying 6HS anywhere outside of a combo, as he can grab you from his bedroom window with that move's hittable box. I think I remember reading on the Pot forum that you can FD airbusters. And you can even slashback every heat knuckle hit and score a CH at the end, but that's not useful to us humans.
