[P4A] Yukiko Amagi - Strategies & Tips

Recommended Posts

Could you do the same thing using 5AAA instead of sweep? More meter and damage, still get the knockdown, though I could see an issue with them being too far away for certain hit confirms to be possible.

EDIT: Wait actually couldn't you just do a full airdash BnB and end it with a sweep? More damage and corner push, better meter gain, and easier to do than TK Agi -> something on grounded opponents imo. So like, you could do (2A) 5AA 2C 5B 3B 6BB airdash jAAA dash 5BB 2B 5B sweep j4d

Welp, I figure I'll share this setup I've been using recently. The way I set it up is I came up with a new BnB for myself, which is just 5aa 5b j236[a] xx ]a[ 2ab jump forward j4d.

How reliably are you able to nail this combo? Seems a little impractical to be a standard BnB. I think I'd favor a 5aaa > superjump knockdown as opposed to a sweep one, for the extra meter and damage (the B&B you list only does like 1300 or so, which you could just get doing something like 5aa > 3b > 5b > sweep).

I use j.D like this in the corner a bit, but midscreen I'd probably favor the 236B just to push the opponent further into the corner.

I mean, j.D oki is cool and all after a sweep, but afaik it's pretty difficult to try and get an unblockable situation off of it right after a sweep. j.D oki is good, but meaty Agi is also very good and doesn't risk your Persona cards.

As of right now I'm not too consistent with it (I'm getting better at it). The reason I use this is because it hits with sweep at almost max range which puts the j.D down just perfectly on them to blow up almost all options. I'll mess around with it more to see if I can optimize it more for more damage and such. I like agi oki too but people don't seem to have any fear of it as its hard to capitalize off a nonCH especially from a distance. At least with this even if they hit the persona you still get a CH fan which has LOTS of hitstun. Well like I said, its something I do, I just wanted to put it out there for people in case they want to use/expand upon it. Right now I'm trying to make a TK SBagi combo for crouchers since the one I have now only works on standing. I need to tweak some things because in actual matches using the range of 5a and hitting from good distances with it leads to dropping the sweep, I just need a way to work around that (sadly my answer at this very moment is simply dash sweep which is stupid hard I will not lie).
