GVGguy Report post Posted May 10, 2014 In general, if the music is not ripped from the soundtrack, in other words; if it's made from scratch, and if the image used is not an ArcSys-official, then ArcSys, and thus, the mods, shouldn't have any problem with it. However, since this is thread is mainly meant to promote oneself or other artists and get feedback if it's your own work, make sure the nico-vid is by the one that actually made it before posting it here. That said, I noticed how at 3:20 the harmony guitar riffs leveled down a bit as other guitar sounds came in. Must be intentional or sounds conflicting each other. Must be intentional or sounds conflicting each other. Wait, you mean as in the original composition itself or just the sound of it in my recreation? If you mean the former, then I believe it's intentional. This is a vs-theme after all, and I believe it's equally as important to create a sense of the two characters clashing on top of the emotions around them fighting each other. If it's the latter, then it might be an effect of the sounds clashing with each other. That part is probably one of the parts that contains the least instruments playing at once. It's nothing but guitars, drums and bass, so the mix might have resulted in the guitars "meshing" each other out. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I really liked the song, as well as the neat distortion you used when ya yelled out "Ride the fire!" and "choose your path now!" :P I am most definitely gonna try and pull out my best voice for this one.
