xntrikcat Report post Posted December 4, 2012 Habaya rises much later. I think it's a positive change. It was possible for characters with fast forward moving specials (read: Ragna, Tsubaki) to catch me off guard by going right under habaya in EX, but it looks like they won't be able to do that anymore. A potential negative might be that it'd be harder to do the "weave style zoning" a la H.H, since habaya has longer screen time. All speculations!
C0R Report post Posted December 4, 2012 Habaya can now be reliably airdashed over is the thing.
Lord Pwnge18 Report post Posted December 4, 2012 Hmm, that's pretty lame. I'd think it would be worth it to TK Habaya more often now.

Lord Pwnge18 Report post Posted December 5, 2012 I'm claiming 1 for the time being. Is there a particular reason why these don't have the colors that are already unlocked? Assuming that these colors are locked in the first place, of course.
C0R Report post Posted December 5, 2012 1-6 are default. The displayed palettes are 7-16, which are the colors the arcade players have to purchase with points.
Tecta1Eastside Report post Posted December 5, 2012 I like colors 7,10,11,16. 16 my fav:)
Lord Pwnge18 Report post Posted December 5, 2012 (edited) That's what I figured. Delicious red-head Mu shall be mine unless 1-6 can show me something nicer. Oh shit, I just realized when you said 7, you meant the first one on that page. I thought you meant the Asuka color. Fuck. Paradox13ox Report post Posted December 5, 2012 I'm sticking with 11, 8 is very tempting though.

I would be suprised if it was anything better than -15 However it does leave µ on alternative sides of the opponent with the right spacing, so and RC 50/50 crossup j.b would be a legitimate mixup. hakimiru Report post Posted December 5, 2012 Game is out, and the Mu boards are starting up! Sorry for the messy format, I'm listing information as it comes >_< (And I don't know Mu, so I apologize if something is confusing). Information from posts up to 80: Habakiri does 3 hits when charged. Air throw bounces and can be followed up with 5C Ground back throw puts them farther away and doesn't go into 6A, but 5C works. 6B has relatively long recovery. Tsurugi wall-bounces on ch. Ikutachi can be canceled into Stein set. Omohikane min damage now ~900. J2C untechable time is short. 6B can be canceled into Steins. J2C forces crouching on hit. 6B has repeat proration, no special cancels? Air hit 2C combos directly into J2C (was this always the case?) 6B ground hit only combos into 6C Tsurugi untechable time is shorter and has to be followed up right away to combo (Lv 1) 2C ch ground hit combos into 5C J2C fc properties removed Tsurugi max charged fc's and wall-bounces Tsurugi Lv2 has slightly longer untechable time. For old combos, you can only do around one loop if you don't already have Steins out? Amane AH was Saya with her eyes closed. Tsurugi wall-bounce works even from midscreen and has long untechable time, so can be comboed after. In OD, both Habakiri and Totsuka do 3 hits without charging. Totsuka has faster startup, longer recovery? Tsunugui startup slower? 2C launches higher and connects into J2C You can't set Steins after winning. No changes to AH input. Tsurugi can be canceled with D In corner, 6C combos into CT Midscreen: 6B>6C>Ikutachi>J2D>Back airdash crossover>JC>J2C>microdash 2B>5C>6C>Tsurugi, 2855 damage. Nemesis Report post Posted December 5, 2012 wow! these changes seems really exciting! Im sill fuzzy on whether SoD bounces or wall sticks in the corner tho-- does anyone know? and combos after an air throw ?!? no heat needed? omfg
Toasty Report post Posted December 5, 2012 Mu is sounding pretty interesting in this game. If I do use her at all, color 7 will be mine. Come at me, C0R. <
SolarMisae Report post Posted December 5, 2012 You can't set Steins after winning. Welp I'm dropping this character, bye guys. Good thing cause I was so gonna use color 7 too. C0R lets be twins. Joking aside, 6B not being special cancelable kinda irks me, but the fact that it combos into 6C now makes up for it.
C0R Report post Posted December 5, 2012 Joking aside, 6B not being special cancelable kinda irks me, but the fact that it combos into 6C now makes up for it. It's STEIN CANCELABLE. Also to everyone on the note of Color 7, good luck.
SolarMisae Report post Posted December 5, 2012 It's STEIN CANCELABLE. Also to everyone on the note of Color 7, good luck. Haha I'm not actually fond of it or any of her new ones aside from maybe 10. I just want my rave colored Mu back. :< And comboing into 6C and steins cancelable is super awesome. I'm so used to 6B > tsurugi that habit is gonna get me killed so hard for awhile till I get used to it haha.
Zeromus_X Report post Posted December 5, 2012 (edited) Habakiri does 3 hits when charged. I was hoping they would still at least let it be 3 hits when charged, I was worried about her oki without it. 2C launches higher and connects into J2C Sweeet Tsurugi can be canceled with D Awesome, now (dash) 6D setups will be more effective after SoD midscreen. edit: well, I meant 6D cancel after SoD will be a better replacement for dash 6D after SoD, but you guys knew what I meant Tsurugi wall-bounce works even from midscreen and has long untechable time, so can be comboed after. Do they mean after max-charge SoD? We CS1 now. You can't set Steins after winning. The worst nerf. Loving the sound of these changes, looks like they handled Mu pretty well. Btw, thanks Hakimiru for translating! Edited December 5, 2012 by Zeromus_X
toanenadiz Report post Posted December 5, 2012 You can't set Steins after winning. Why would they do something like that? That was one of the few moves that was fun to throw out after a match
