"Advanced AC Axl: Raei (S)" or "Proof that Digital Watches has too much free time"

I don't remember where we wrote something about Raiei FRC (hit) whiffing on low stances (such as Axl's 2+K, or Venom's sweep) but there was one about Faust having a low stance when crouching. I tested (and made videos ^^) and noticed that Raiei FRC (hit) only whiffs if Faust is crouching neutral. If he crouches with a direction, he gets hit... -> So in any cases, the FRC (hit) will hit any crouching character, as people usually press 1 or 3 to crouch... I made some punishing videos, like Eddie instant blocking the raiei into 2+Hs-> counter combo and sol instant blocking the j.HS after raiei-> FRC-> air dash to do a Wild throw-> combo... But I did do one where the catch misses as Axl does a benten S-> FRC-> combo ^^ (on Pot and testament) Dunno if I should up them now though...

Um, one comment: You should be able to break Anji's throw, as it's a normal grab like everyone else's. Sol's was a wild throw, so probably not. Also, you can 1FJ out of any throw setup, and you can do stuff (like maybe a bomber) after the j.H to be more safe.

Ok, but the 3rd part was just there to see the risks after a blocked follow up, not all the means to avoid them. Dealing with them by using Benten S was also to introduce the throw invulnerability. I'll try to add what you said to my tutorial though.

Yeah ! You can add that as a side note in your first post ^^ (As you are likely to use thension right away for the FRC, you don't have to try with 25% already, it will apear right in time ^^)

Just had something kinda strange happen with this move. I was playing against venom in arcade mode, and I don't know if I dashed in or not, but I did 63214S without FRCing (mainly because I sti,l haven't learned axl's frc windows other than koku). Anyways, when it hit, the move didn't cross up, sending venom flying in the same direction I did, but I landed on the opposite side of him as if it had crossed up. This cause him to push against me, giving me a KD that I could have punished without FRCing Raei. I don't know if anyone could reproduce this, but it seems like it might? be half-useful? possibly?

Oh wow, sorry Kumlekar, I didn't see your post until just now, but that's definitely noted in the first post. It happens on counterhit, because of the additional stun/standstill effect of CHing, and usually only if you're running and at a very specific spacing. It's in the second paragraph of "Advanced meterless tricks". It comes up so little it didn't seem to deserve its own section.
