JerEzeSin Report post Posted November 30, 2008 I have a question. what happens when these two move activate at the same time? or rather why this is the result I get? Me EX-Sol Tyrant Rave Alpha my friend did Ride the lightning. my Tyrant Rave pushed him from in front of me to the other side of the screen. His move then hit me for the full 5 hits leaving ky undamaged. How come? I mean it wasn't like my tension attack went first or anything. They both sparked at the same time. so thanks in advance for reading and even more if you have an answer. this happened like a few weeks ago and I just remembered to post it up here. Sytha Report post Posted December 2, 2008 Ky's Ride the lightning likely had more invinciblity than the EX Sol super. I wouldn't know because I don't know the data for EX Sol at all. But picture it like this. Say X super move has 1+5 start up, like 6 active frames and 20-ish frames of recovery (Doesn't really matter.) and frames 1-7 are invincible. Then you have X super move which is... 6+5 start up, 2 active frames then whatever recovery but it is invincible for frames 1-10 and invincible to strikes for frames 11-16. Anyway. frames 7-12 are when the first super can hit while it can't be hit on the 1st 7 frames. While super 2 can hit on frames 12 and 13 but is invincible pretty much till frame 16. Super 2 would win because it could hit super 1 while it's invincible assuming that it's hitbox touches the vurnable part of super 1's hitbox (else they would likely clash.) I think this topic kinda belonged in the general gameplay questions. Not in the character speific forums but My shitty explaination might give you an idea of what happened. JerEzeSin Report post Posted December 2, 2008 wasn't a shitty explanation but it's understandable and down to the point. Thanks Sytha
