[CP2] Relius Loketest Changes and Discussion

Prolly a minor thing but enhanced dash speed means we can advance Bios across the stage faster. Combined with the P2 buff this is great rendition for Bios lovers.

Bios is honestly my favorite tool to use against people who like to air dash. Also great for people waiting for wakeup vinum unless they're tager or.maybe bullet (anyone who can command grab)

But with this we'll be able to use it in neutral a bit more effectively.

 

(Confession time, besides U-Bullet, I have never had a bullet so much as use that distortion on me.)

In Yo-yo we trust LOL.

Anyways if you watch some Relius matches you'll notice something interesting, I haven't really seen anybody do follow up pressure after a blocked 214A. I know they made the move alot faster so as a result it gives Relius less time to act afterwards, I'm just hoping that if someone blocks it from point blank range he isn't negative or worse punishable (probably wont't be). I hope they don't change it too much I like my ghetto fireball.

The exact change to 214A was faster start-up, slower recovery. They say it's still a little plus on block, but not what you'd expect from Ignis. 214B alledgedly has more recovery too, But both set up pincer state now, so there's that.

Little somethin' somethin' I noticed, Val Lanto (214A) seems to have hard knockdown on ground hit, but not on air hit. It looks like Ignis might be able to get some small oki with 6D (or perhaps more if you can follow up the 6D in time with a 5B.) it remains to be seen.

 

With its increase in speed I wonder if we'll see (sandwich) 5B>214A>2C>6C>41236B combos and the like. I'm still on the lookout for Rel changes.
