Thanks Shyn. I wholeheartedly agree with you with confirming into cannons after a w5C, completely forgot about that. I'll get right on adding your combos.

Both of these can have CT added after the first hit of 6B and still work if you omit the 2C immediately afterwards.

 

Omit 5C instead. 2C is faster (less combo timer usage) and does a tiny bit more damage.

 

 

Also wj.236C>j.3D5D~j.C leads into some nice combos.

 

corner:

w[5C>236A>5B>236B>j236A>j236B>j236C>j3D~5D]>j.C>5B>2C>2147B>2C>j.B>dj.B>j.C

 

uses less wolf meter than:

w[5C>236A>5B>236B>j236A>j236B>j236C>j214A>brj.A>5D]>5B>2C>j.B>dj.B>j.C

5C does more damage than 2C now.

 

5C/2C/3C all have the same proration but damage-wise 5C>3C>2C.

 

That being said, If I'm gonna to CT I think I'll use the swag rising wjBjC5C route instead. :P

Nice, i will try it out, lately Valk's threads are dead ;(.

Been trying silly stuff and trying to optimize some combos, seems what we lost that i miss a lot is our corner carry.

heres a weird/fun combo i came up with and does pretty good dmg midscreen without too much wolf meter, and a pretty solid confirm.

w[5C>236A>delay>5C>236B>1C>5D]>2C>6B>2C>j5D>w[jA>jC>236B>214A] (3600~dmg)

reminds me of the old combos from BBCP1.1 also ive been having a hard time since i just switched from Controller to Hitbox :v

Wow that route is cool, but if you're gonna spend the meter on the 3D would it not be better to just do another w5C into beast cannon?

If you get a 5B starter which is rare, i've found the optimal route (highest easy damage) uses both actually.

 

w[5B>5C>236A>5C>br>5B>iadj.B>j.C>j.236B>j.236A>j.236C>3D5D]>5B>2C>2147B>6C>3C

 

the idea itself was just a fairly recent thing i found. I'm still experimenting on routes.

w5C starter for good damage non counterhit for 50 meter.

 

w[5C>236A>5D]>2C>6B>2C>2147B>j9D>w[j.B>j.C>5B>236B>j236B>j.236C>3D5D]>j.C>3C>632146

4924 Damage

used wolf meter: 60%

recovered throughout combo: 50%

Net loss of wolf meter: 10%

w5C punish non-CH combo I use is

w5C>w236A>2C>6B>delay 5B>2C>tkj214B>6C>5B>2C>wjB>wjC>wj236A>wj236C>wj236B>3D>DjC>(632146D) 3978 (5002)

~35% wolf gauge used without Sturm.

You get back all the wolf gauge required during the human part though so as long as you got enough to do w5C>w236A, you can always pull it off.

w5C starter + hitconfirm into jC>(Sturm) ender

w5C>6D>wjA>w5C>w236A>2C>6B>delay 5B>2C>tkj214B>5B>2C>wjB>wjC>wj236A>wj236C>wj236B>3D>DjC>(632146D) 3619 (4643)

w5C>3D1C>w236A>2C>6B>delay 5B>2C>tkj214B>5B>2C>wjB>wjC>wj236A>wj236C>wj236B>3D>DjC>(632146D) 4204 (5228)

Adding one more w5C to optimize damage result in 4462 without the Sturm.

Most optimized wolf regen combo with wolf N starter I know:

w5C>w236A>2C>6B(1)>236C>236A>5B>2C>tkj214B>6C>3C>236B 3324

Gives back 50%+ wolf gauge so use that if you can't kill and want to keep the vortex going.

Any N starter leading into 236C (crouching / CH confirms) can go into the following route:

 

Midscreen -  > 236C > 6D > w[j.C > j.236C > j.236B > 3D > j.D] > j.C > 5B > 5C > j.B > dj.B > j.C

Back to Corner -  > 236C > 6D > w[j.C > j.236C > j.236B > 3D > j.D] > j.C > 5B > 236A > 5B > 5C (or 2C) > j.B > dj.B > j.C

Midscreen to Corner it depends.

-----> If it's 1 hit into 236C: > 236C > 6D > w[j.C > 6D > j.B > j.B > 5C > 236A > 5D] > 2C > 6B > 2C > tk.214B > 6C > 3C (> 236B)

-----> If it's 2 hits into 236C: > 236C > 6D > w[j.C > 6D > j.B > j.B > 5C > 236A > 5D] > 2C > 6B > 5B > 2C > j.B > dj.B > j.C

-----> If it's 3 hits into 236C: > 236C > 6D > w[j.C > 6D > j.B > j.B > 5C > 236A > 5D] > 2C > 6B > 5B > 2C > j.B > j.C

Anymore hits before the 236C in the midscreen to corner route, and you'd probably have to omit the 6B part and go straight into an air combo after w236A. Fun stuff. Got that route from @pq_RYU_pq. I suggest following him for Valk stuff if you haven't.

Thanks for linking that twitter account dude. To be honest I found Valk's combo theory in CPEX to be pretty lame, but the stuff that this guy has seems both fun and practical!

So i found a fun and high dmg combo for midscreen that works with a w5B starter, but gets like 200~ish more dmg with a w5C starter
w[5C > 236A > delayed 5C > 236B > 1D > 5D] > 2C > 6B > 2C > jD > w[jA > jC > 236A > 236B > 236C > 3D > 5D ]> jC > 632146D 4900~ish dmg
or if you dont have meter
w[5C > 236A > delayed 5C > 236B > 1D > 5D] > 2C > 6B > 2C > jD > w[jA > jC > 236A > 236B > 236C > 214A > 214B] for about 4000 dmg
