    Just had a random happy thought. Because of 5B pushback being removed and [2B] launching, Mitsuru can actually punish AOAs for real damage now.

    most likely it wont work on standing. air hit 5AAA > B coup > 2A > 2B > etc, works in 1.0 because there's extra hitstun when B coup hits air opponents (the hangtime before they start sliding on the ground + the sliding) which allows 2A to barely pick up. Regardless, it's fucking amazing to hear that 5AAA > B coup works. This made my day.

    Obligatory post: -it's just a loke test -we don't know what will stay in the patch -we don't know how changes A/B/C will affect X/Y/Z until we see footage or can play it ourselves -don't get ahead of yourselves Personally, I'm liking the changes I'm seeing so far. Again, the only thing I'm really, really hoping for is slightly more hitstun on A droit.

    Kanji is the one who carries nearly all of the risk in that matchup. The majority of Kanji's you will fight online, especially if they use DP as much as you're implying, will get blown up if you just harass them with max range 5A pressure, occasionally stopping for a few seconds to see what he does. Chances are all of the bad Kanjis will just be mashing on DP and 214D (the slow, invul command grab), both of which are punishable and have fatal recovery. Just be a little more passive during your pressure and let him kill himself. Good luck.

    TLDR: Mash those buttons faster When you use AOA~D as a starter, where it hit outside of a combo, it is easiest to get all 18 hits and the fatal ender to combo. When used in a combo, AOA~D is more difficult. You need to mash A + B fast enough to get all of the hits, and press D asap once you feel like you've mashed enough. Even if you use mash as fast as humanly possible, it wont matter if you delay the D ender for some reason. It takes some practice to get a feel for it. It happens to everyone at some point. Even yamashita drops the ender in matches once in a while.

    If you're aiming to get specific confirms, then you're thinking about this all wrong. Learn to confirm your hits when they are crouching, standing, airborn, whatever and just take what you can get, what is given to you. There's nothing wrong with doing autocombo when it's the only thing you can do (standing opponents). as far as discouraging the opponent from standing goes, use sweep in your pressure, and learn to confirm when it hits. If you hold 1 (down+back) while inputting sweep, you can react to it hitting by pressing 6A or 6A+B (which will confirm A-droit/SB-droit, SB being for the corner).

    Yes, her 2B has a Just-Frame, meaning that if you release it on a very specific frame (I don't know which one off the top of my head) you will do a fair amount of extra damage. Don't count on this being consistent though. Usually a combo will require fully held [2B] or unheld 2B. Pretty neat inclusion, regardless. Assuming you are able to connect [2B] > [6B] after the OMC, just slightly delay the sweep and they'll land right on top of it as it's active. Mitsuru can safe jump after airborn hit auto-combo and sweep > A coup. Just hold up after A coup and you'll jump at the first possible frame, then use a falling j.B while holding back. If the opponent uses a DP/Furious-action, you'll block it after landing.
