    Use this thread to discuss Ky changes in 1.1 loketests. 1st post will be updated as info arises. (Thanks to Sytha, SoWL, and Stunedge for translations) PLEASE NOTE THESE ARE LOCATION TEST CHANGES AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE IN THE FINAL BUILD Ky Changes: - Stunedge: 90% Initial proration added and YRC window increased - Stun Dipper: 90% Initial proration added - Split Ciel: Attack level increased from 2 to 4 - Sacred Edge: start up changed to 4+3 from 5+3; Projectile comes out even if you YRC right after the start-up; No longer reflected by Zato's Drunkard Shade. - 5HS: staggers on counter hit - 2HS: 90% Initial proration added - 6HS: 2nd hit's active frames increased from 1F->2F; Recovery decreased from 3F->2F; RISC value increased from 10->20 - Throw: RISC value on 2nd hit decreased from 8->6 - Air Stun Edge: Damage increase from 33->43; Staggers on counter hit - Ride the Lightning: Blows back farther on otg hit. System Changes: - The input buffer for button presses, forward dash etc. has been increased. - Some commands for specials and supers are now easier to input. - If you Blitz Shield a projectile and the opponent is nearby, they get repelled. - The start-up of purple Roman Cancel is reduced. - When the opponent uses Roman Cancel during a blue Psyche Burst's start-up, a red Roman Cancel is now performed. - Changed the behavior of neutral ukemi at low altitude.

    yeah, it definitely has limited use. Since unlike FRC stunedge your air options don't get restored with YRC stunedge; So if you did a double jump stunedge, you can't do anything after even if you YRC.
  4. yeah it has a few fixes. Netcode improvements, Eng/Jp voice glitch, and other various fixes. Although Netplay seems much worse for me now that the patch is out.

    Actually for this combo there's no Jump install. I revised it in the combo section. I transcribed a lot of these combos from before the games hit console, so I had assumed there was a JI; I'm going to be combing through these combos to makes sure they're accurate. I revised this one in the combo section. As for how to actually Jump install, you want to take a move that is jump cancellable like Ky's c.S and jump cancel it, then you want to cancel the startup of the jump with another move like 2HS(The jump shouldn't come out at all), and then you can super jump but still have your air options such as double jump. So a JI'd combo would look like: Greed Sever > c.S > 8 > 2HS > High jump > j.S > j.P > j.S > JC > j.S > j.HS > VT

    You have to jump install the c.S. so it'd be 6HS> c.S > 8 > f.S > etc

    -Instant Kill on any round will knock his hair down -Knocking Ky down 5-6 times on your match point will knock his hair down These also work in Training as well.

    You just have to make sure that you're inputting the motion for high jump a little bit 'after' you land.

    You don't really need to use f.S preemptively to use it effectively. Usually when I catch people with a Counter hit or Crouching hit f.S, it's when I'm harassing them in neutral. Regarding reads, I mean it depends on the situation, you may not be at a great range where you can properly convert off a raw greed sever. It's much less risky to toss out f.S since there's much less commitment and more options on block; and most of the combo routes starting with f.S lead to more damage than raw Greed Sever.

    Looking at the combo, it seems I left out a couple crucial details to making the combo work. The c.S needs to be Jump Install'd and you need to hj.S after greed sever. I'll revise it immediately.

    It's back to the way it was in #R where it doesn't bounce as high on normal hit, so it's a bit tighter to combo c.S.
