How much is it to park at the school?

The daily rate is $5. More info on parking here: http://daf.csulb.edu/offices/ppfm/parking/parking-general.html

Parking lots 3 and 4 are the ones should consider, since they are closer to the USU (where the ballrooms are). Here's a map for your convenience: http://daf.csulb.edu/maps/parking/index.html

An alternative if you don't want to pay for parking, you can park on Bellflower Blvd. (west side of the campus) or on Atherton St. (north side of campus), but it's a long walk.
