The largest fighting game tournament in the southwest returns on May 8-10, 2015 at the Sheraton Brookhollow hotel in Houston, Tx!

Featuring a ballroom twice the size of last years event, Tx Showdown is looking to blow up all the attendance records of previous years. Featuring main game tournaments for Ultra Street Fighter 4, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Guilty Gear Xrd, Killer Instinct season 2, Mortal Kombat X, and Super Smash Bros 4. There will also be a number of side games being hosted including, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, BlazBlue Chrono Phantasma Extend, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, Super Smash Bros Melee, Street Fighter III 3rd Strike, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, and Gundam Extreme Vs Full Boost among others.

On-Site Registration(May 8 Only!): $60 registration fee.

Spectator fee applies to all attendees not participating in any headliner games.
Kids 12 years or younger are free, with adult supervision.

Prize Distribution:
-SSF4:AE and Ultimate MvC3 – If 128 but under 256 entrants – Top 8 pay out – 1st (60%), 2nd (20%), 3rd (10%), 4th (4%), 5th (2%), 6th (2%), 7th (1%), 8th (1%). If 256 entrants – Top 16 pay out – prize distribution TBA
-Smash 4, MKX, GGXrd, KI – Top 8 pay out – 1st (60%), 2nd (20%), 3rd (10%), 4th (4%), 5th (2%), 6th (2%), 7th (1%), 8th (1%)
