I am very well aware that some people may still be playing CT, but 98% of the community wants to read, learn, and get a feel for CS related stuff. Instead of deleting the useful information we previously had (It was alot!) I have decided to just clean up and put everything into one thread.

The threads in here include:

So you've got 4 seals and 50% super.

When should you activate the Furinkazan and when will activating be a big mistake?

Vs which characters? Should you do it when you have plenty of health? Should you do it when you have almost none? How about the opponent's health? Before or after the burst? Etc. etc.

There's a lot to discuss about.

There's a lot to discuss about.

It depends. On your skill with it. On what you expect from your opponent's reactions/experiences. On their character ( :eng101: Hakumen anyone?) As well as the situation.

Well, there is still so much to learn. FRKZ has lots of unexplored potential I believe, and as the console release, and hopefully a generation of strong Bang players (errr :vbang:) from all around will bring out it's potential!

only do FRKZ if your fully comfortable with it. It's not easy to use at all. If you don't know what your doing (and your opponent does) then you're probably going to lose. You gotta get used to the fact that all your movements are dashes which can make doing some combos more difficult(ex. you get a forward dash instead of 623B). I would say do FRKZ when you have a good life lead cause of the fact that you cant normal guard, which could make it hard to play defensively.

then ya he probably should unless he's playing against v13 rachel or arakune because the inability to block right away hurts a lot in those match ups

Well it having gimics both positive and negative could leave the user feeling like its uncontrollable. It having a 8 way dash, but it also not having defense only leaves you with the PURE BLITZ strategy, or the hit and run strategy. and as ThePretender says you could always do it to be awesome.

Can he Guard Point projectiles with his D attacks? If he can then he isn't totally screwed vs V13, combined with the teleports from the GP.

guard pointing v13's projectiles is hard because they're fast so you have to predict it, and if you predict wrong you're going to eat a fat combo

Either that or he will actually time out the match for the win by completely evading his opponent and throwing occasional projectiles to damage or limit movement options.

I don't know if it was Dora or not, but I once saw a Bang player use FRKZ while under pressure just to land a command throw. It's almost similar to playing Archer in F:UC and using UBW chants to 'cancel' your attacks.

Updated and thanks. It was more because I really didn't know who to look for vids of American Bangs as compared to others. I also hope to have some good videos of myself with an upcoming 2v2 tourny this Sat. in NY! Oh and if the antics of Bang players were recorded on video, I could have a whole post dedicated to myself :toot::toot::toot:

I think the way we can find the best Bang player in the US is to record the antics while not playing the game. The craziest one is the best, right?:eng101:
