Is there a real damage limit in the game? I once did steel rain on a downed tager tooK almost half Health but damage stopped after 60+ hits.

As an effort to prevent infinites and full life combos, after around 60 hits the proration automatically is set to about 1 damage per hit regardless of the attack I believe.

I need some help pulling this combo: ↓A > B > ↓B > →↓↘B > B > ↓B > JA > JB > →↓↘B i can't get the B after the →↓↘B, is that a timing problem? need to be in middle screen or do i need to dash or run after the →↓↘B ?

MadTeaParty's bang is pretty hot. Different style than Dora's, but still very hot. Gotta definitely watch him too.

You might need to wait for an answer from one of the more advanced users, but because I was in training mode already and saw your post I decided to try it out myself. I'm fighting Tager currently so maybe it changes depending upon who you're fighting against but here is what i noticed. I could only really land the B after the 623B when I was at about sweep range and Tager was obviously near the corner. Anywhere else and I was too far away. And when I was right up on him in the corner I would whiff threw his tech. My guess is when doing that combo you might eventually end up within this range when it becomes applicable. Again I may be wrong, because i'm just starting out on Bang myself.

This combo doesn't work from what I've seen. You can't land B after a fire punch wall bounce, you can only link 5A, unless you rapid cancel the fire punch.

Great videos with all those tips, too much for me to learn. Any time I think i'm getting something basic down, something even more advanced gets figured out. Slow and steady learning process for me.

DaiandOh - One of MTG's videos is actually a duplicate on the 1st page listing. I was going down the list watching all the videos and noticed it. The 2nd video listed of MTG vs Don is actually the same link to MTG vs sadistic robot's Nu. No big deal just thought i'd point it out for you if no one else has already.

Also i'm not sure if you want to do this or not, but you could just put a link to my youtube channel instead of listing my individual matches because I'm uploading at least 5 matches of mine from each session I have. I wouldn't want you to have to update the 1st post with tons of matches of mine especially since i'm just a beginner and my matches aren't informative or high level advanced play.

I planned on still posting my matches every now and then, so maybe if you don't want to do that you could just take like 3 of my latest matches that I post once in a while to update the 1st page after however many days you see fit. Just a suggestion to save you some trouble and so I don't feel like I have a ton of useless matches posted on the 1st page when I still suck. Speaking of those matches........

you can 5b a 623b if the enemy is floated before you hit him :/, but he isn't in that combo.

I have Tager setup in training mode and if his head is somewhere between the Orb of the Guard Libra and the B in "Barrier" (Or R in "Barrier"), you can land 2B-623B-5B-2B-J.A-J.B-623B (mid-air). So that's why I said as you were doing that combo from the start it would be situational whether or not the B would connect after the 623B, cause the distance needs to be just right. So if you did 5A-5B-2B-623B and the distance was at that range you can then land the 5B-2B-J.A-J.B-623B (mid-air). Of course maybe that's just Tager, but I do have all the Techs enabled for him so it is possible, just very strict spacing.

EDIT - Just tried it against Nu. If you're both position as far right as the screen can go, and then have them in the place I said the 2B-623B-5B-2B-J.A-J.B-623B connects. So I pushed her further out, right near the divided section of the Guard Libra a little nearer to the blue part and did 5A-5B-2B-623B-5B-2B-J.A-J.B-623B. I think it's possible but like i said the positioning is critical.

Honestly, you need to go into training mode to get your combos down. You keep trying to do 5b2b623b but keep messing up or dropping the combo. Not just that, but there are other combos which are better. Also you need to look for good times to use 2d as an anti-air to autoguard hits and CH into a 4 seal combo. There is a lot you need to work on. Mainly execution and approaching. I'm not trying to be mean, just trying to help all of our Bangs serve Justice and Love (<3 Litchi)!

Yeah it would be a good idea to state who you're comboing against, cause a lot of combos are character specific. Tager is the easiest to combo though. I normally train on Ragna, Jin, v-13, Arakune, and Carl. Depending on what kind of combo I'm trying to make or practice.

Nah what's worst is that i'm trying 5A-5B-2B-2C-6D-6239B, but I have a bad habit of holding down when going for the 6D, but just tonight while messing around in training mode i've realized I can be more methodical about the 6D and not rush it. But I definitely need to do everything you've said. The combo I said is the only one i'm trying to get down to being able to do 90% of the time, then i'm gonna work on the 4 seal combos or just any decent combos that use the Web Nails.

The only problem is that you had to really like, place Nu in one spot. That's the thing. She needs to be in the perfect spot to do that or else she will either tech too soon or be too far before you can get her with 5b. :/

Yeah, in this game, you don't really need to buffer inputs or input them really fast. It's very easy to do them if you just take your time.

This combo doesn't work from what I've seen. You can't land B after a fire punch wall bounce, you can only link 5A, unless you rapid cancel the fire punch.

I've been able to get it to work, I've only tried it on Noel and V-13 though. I set aerial recovery to to neutral, and turned on ground recovery, just in case. I couldn't get the midair double palm at the end to hit V-13. Though I only messed with it for about 30 minutes.

After the fire punch wallbounce, you have to dash B. It's a tough link though, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a 1 or 2 frame window to hit the dash.

Also, it's pretty sick that you can wallbounce from mid-screen, I'm used to it just being in the corner.

One thing I noticed, is that if you substitute the aerial double-palm at the end of 2a 5b 2b 623b 5b 2b ja jb for the air command grab, the combo deals over 4000 damage. Which is nuts for a combo off of 2a. Anyone have experience with this? Is it too easy to tech to be viable?

It really depends on your opponent. Pro players are always ready to break grabs but may screw up, decent players might be able to react in time, and scrubs you can just roll around all day with run up dp grab. Considering the potential damage gain of the grab vs the meager amount from the palm strike, it may well be worth it, but as I said, good players aren't gonna fall for it much. You also give up Oki if they break it.

Every time I watch Dora's bang I learn so much. vid1 vs Failure's (障害) Jin I lol'd at the 2nd round finish of the first match. I've seen it before, but I still lol at it. 5c 2363214c is too good. He wins with it pretty much twice... So good xD vid2 vs R-1's Noel CHj.D 2b 623b 2363214c 5.1k damage combo. So simple, yet so effective. 2:18->2:40 (the finish) is amazing. 3:44-3:53 LMAO!!!!! FRKZ then grab, noel breaks and then Dora runs up and grabs again! AMAZING lmao!!! 4:41 FRKZ mixup is really nice. j.b 6 j.b 6(back to where he was) j.b 5b. Very tricky Dora! Making R-1 think that he's going to combo off of CH j.b twice lol. 5:23 predicts Noel's overhead and does 9 j.a whiff j.4c and his Noel while avoiding her attack and combos off of the j.4c into 5a j.a j.a j.b ^ j.b j.623b And yay how Dora wins both sets in vid 2. Really happy about that. Great games, close match in the end.

In the sense of, "is this viable in tournaments?" no. It will be broken, every single time you throw it in a combo against anyone who's watching the screen that knows what they're doing. If the throw techs were 1-2 frames like guilty, bang would be instant A tier, almost any poke can lead into the command throw.

Edit*

And at the previous 623b combo yeah it does work from that video that was uploaded, but the setup and spacing for it is much too situational to make it worth learning, especially when you can do twin palm strike > dash 5a > and go for a reset command throw.
