Axl vs Millia

  • Use this thread to discuss the Millia matchup.
  • This post will be updated to collect useful info over time.

Round Start:
  • Jump back is the safest option. Millia's jump up > react > pin beats most of your ground options here.

Neutral:
  • Be careful AAing a Millia with Pin.  Axl can't contest it, if it trades Axl ends up being in stagger state.
  • Stay away from Pin range. Try baiting the pin by IADing backwards whenever you expect it.
  • If Millia loses Pin, PROTECT IT ALL COSTS.

Offense:
  • Wake up timing: 25f face-up, 23f face-down.

Defense:
  • Overheads: 6K (19f startup, +3 on block), 6HS(2) (jump/special cancellable), 5D (28f startup, -10 on block), Bad Moon, Winger (2nd hit).
