When taking the combo damage keep in mind if Hakumen was in active flow or not since it increases damage?  Same for counter hits.

It looks like Tsubaki still guard breaks for this test you can see vs Celica she blocks it in the air gets guard broken and recovers in the air.

The new drive special goes super far and seems like it recovers really fast too.  Would be really crazy if it was safe.  Does 1650 damage too.

j.D looks like it does 1.6k now instead of 2k. (Maybe it always did 1.6k?)

Thanks, I almost forgot about the CH bonus yesterday.

Regarding Yanagi, it may lose to low and/or isn't invincible frame 1. At 7:46 Relius does 2B and it counter hits, at the same time "Yanagi" can be heard. The same thing occurs later on with Relius' J.B (8:03)

Furthermore, it's just a theory, but Yanagi probably deals 1500 damage raw. Everytime Yanagi hits in those matches, it's either during Active Flow (7:55) or it triggers the CH red-flash (11:20, 11:54), hence the 10% boost. Supporting this theory, 2D deals 1600 raw in CF (11:49), however, a bit later in the video, it deals 1760 (13:12) and the same red-flash as before can be seen.

And yes, 2D and J.D do respectively 1800 and 2000 in CPE.

Here's a larger picture of the new animation for the second hit of Renka.

The new drive special looks really fun. Though Hakumen looks like CPE with a new special right now.  Hopefully things change more once CF hits arcades.

Apparently during the stream last night the hakumens were showing off some new combos?  I wasn't able to watch, so does anyone know if it got recorded?

For the most part, I like what I'm seeing; he's basically CPE Hakumen (who already is decent) with new options.

  • New drive special will help out in neutral if it doesn't change anymore to final release; it covers distance and recovers remarkably fast for a counter move.
  • If Renka is still +1, then that means more pressure options off it after a blocked hit (Renka(jc)>j.2C, 2B, etc etc) I wanna know if both hits are jump cancellable or just the second hit tho.
  • Specials are now ODC which is gonna make confirming into OD even easier. Hopefully he still maintains his current damage.
  • Tsubaki isn't an overhead anymore, but it guard crushes and does hard knockdown, so that's a fair trade off I guess. I hope the frame advantage off of guard crush is enough to get a decent combo.
  • Exceed Accel is the new hotness :V (MISOGIIII)

But yea, he didn't get anything too crazy but at the very least, they didn't take much away this time without giving something decent in return. I can't wait to see what people come up with this Holiday. Just make counters catch projectiles and give meter again and we'll be good, plz team blue.

There's no way the drive special could be used in combos right? like not to follow-up j.5C or CHj.5C or something right?

Drive special will find utility as an actual callout for burst baits now.

I doubt it, unless its active from frame 1 in the final release.

Is 6D 1F again? did nor see a single one used yet

Late reply sorry, as far as the second loketest is confirmed there had been no news about it, for the first one it was unclear. However, considering that there hasn't been any record of a Haku-men player setting off fireworks at the loketest, it's probably no.

I did some math with videos from previous post. Please remember that numbers are not absolutely accurate, but they can give you some perspective on bbcf haku from 2nd loketest.

For now I keep all data here:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1DPPCGBT4rHa3J1hSItHValajOdCwf5R-HOcj-peKOFU/edit?usp=sharing

Right now I am kinda stuck because some numbers don`t add up (P1 & P2 for j.B mostly), so I can`t calculate anything further.

So far, new hakumen is very strange to me. Zantetsu doesn`t ignore CCR on first hit (CT too, but maybe it`s bug?). All specials damage except renka are higher. A & B normals damage is higher, but C normals damage is lower. Scaling is worse on some moves. Details in table.

I don`t really remember haku before bbcp 1.0, but damage and moves changes make me think that hakumen persues Terumi in low tier contest))

Uh, you did consider whether Hakumen was in Active Flow or not right? Because that's an automatic 10% damage increase.

Yes, I did. 10% CH bonus for first move too.

Hiago provided a translation for the first tweet:

- 2C' head invul at 5F
- Yanagi counter starts at 4F
- 5A has more untech time; 5A > Hotaru is back
- 6D counter starts at 1F
- No counters other than Yanagi are activated by projectiles
