People have been created that are human-animal hybrids, and powerful businesses bet on the outcome of their duels. College student Nomoto Yuuya's casual acquaintances ask him to drive them around to pick up girls one day, which he soon finds out means by force. The girl they kidnap is an animal-human hybrid named Hitomi, who slaughters all of them except Yuuya. Hitomi is a honey badger, which has been called the most fearless of all animals. Now Hitomi is assigned to stay with Yuuya, for his protection!

Killing Bites are underworld duels between human-animal hybrids.
One beast who knows no fear will fight in this animalistic world full of fear and insanity.

This ultimate battle of the beasts will shock you to your core!

In the latest issue of Monthly Hero’s, it was announced that a new Killing Bites game has been announced for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

Killing Bites is a manga series written by Murata Shinya and illustrated by Sumita Kazuasa that features human-animal hybrids, so it sounds like it’ll be pretty fun to see it made into a fighter. More details will be revealed in the near future.

The new Killing Bites game will release in Spring 2016.

They finally brought back Bloody Roar, cool.

The developer is iffy, so my expectations are pretty low. As long as it's not broken beyond belief and has some merit outside of its character designs, I'll be happy.

You shut  yer whore mouth with such blasphemy!! :arg:

That being said I'll try anything put into fighter form, but I have little faith that even the source material is llegitimately decent /agedjadedselfloathingotaku

Nex Entertainment is a shovelware house with no real accomplishments to their name, and there's no way that this will be anything other than a cheap and sleazy Naruto Storm-style free roaming arena button masher. Never even heard of this manga, so the budget's going to be shoestring-level.

Had no idea what manga it was, readed it because of this thread and i think it´s awesome (made by the same mangaka that did "arachnid" too, interesting), hopefully they scanlate more episodes soon

not high expectations on this game considering the developers past works (lol bayoneta PS3) but who knows, looking foward for more info

Pretty obvious that they went out of their way to avoid showing what it actually plays like.

First time I've seen Nex Entertainment's logo displayed so prominently, BTW. Like TOSE and Now Production, they're usually one of those shadowy mercenary devs who'll take on jobs for practically any publisher, have few to zero original IPs to their name and don't care about getting recognition from people outside the industry. Maybe they're trying to break away from that image? Let's not forget that they were responsible for the legendarily bad PS3 port of Bayonetta though.

Man, is this game really only going to have a 10 character roster? Are you serious right now?

That might be the roster right now but it's still early to tell.

“We have decided to call off the development of the video game Killing Bites,” a Fields representative told Gematsu in an e-mail. “We continued development to improve the quality of the game, such as the multiplayer system, since the announcement in 2015. However, the delay of the launch due to the dissolution of the game development company and our optimization of investment for management led to the suspension of the game.”

While development on Killing Bites has ceased for now, the representative added, “The future plan of game development of Killing Bites remains unsettled.”

Killing Bites was originally scheduled to launch in 2016 before it was delayed to an unannounced release window. A single trailer was released at Tokyo Game Show 2015.
