I think ASW is only porting the game. I doubt they'll be the ones doing Story Mode.

I play mostly as kamui and saki and didn't get a chance to play AH2 ported. Can someone give me a rundown on their stats since AH1? I've heard Kamui got nerfed pretty bad but Saki seems the sam or buffed.

How do you know it won't be region locked? Well... Most PS3 titles aren't region locked, but it doesn't mean they can't be. I think there has ever been 1 maybe 2 region locked titles ever. But, hopefully they don't decide something as crazy as region locking it. D:
