Hey, I am having trouble toward the end of her combos with the 3 D > B, 2B, 6A, j. 236 b x5. I often drop the J. 236B x5 or if I land it, I cannot do the 3 D > B after it. When you input it do you do 2369 B? 9236 B? If I whiff 3 D > B, does that mean I did it too late?

I was having trouble with this before as well. But now hitting it more consistently. One thing to note that small characters like Es and Platinum will fall out of it so you will have to go for an alternate combo route or omit extra damage.
If they are standard sized characters and still falling out of it, then you mistimed the tigerknee buffer. 
Input should definitely be 2369 because you want Tao to high jump.
Lastly, yes. If  the j.2D whiff after j.236B it's because you're waiting too long to press it. I typically press j.2D as the 5th hits connects.

100% Life:
5B > 5C > OD > 5C > 6C > 6C > 2C > 236AB > 236236D. 3700 damage with OD Hexa-Edge.
2B > 5C > OD > 5C > 6C > 6C > 2C > 236AB > 236236D. 3963 damage with OD Hexa-Edge.
5B > 5C > OD > 5C > 6C > 6C > 6B > j.C(miss) > 6C > 6C > 5DA > 2B > 6A > hjc j.236B > j.2DB > 3C > 236236D. 4502 damage. This is assuming enemy is near corner.
2B > 5C > OD > 5C > 6C > 6C > 6B > j.C(miss) > 6C > 6C > 5DA > 2B > 6A > hjc j.236B > j.2DB > 3C > 236236D. 4765 damage. This is assuming enemy is near corner.

60% life:
5B > 5C > OD > 5C > 6C > 6C > 2C > jc j.2B > j.C > 6C > 6C > 236AB > 236236D. 4200 damage into OD Hexa-Edge. This assumes enemy is standing.
2B > 5C > OD > 5C > 6C > 6C > 2C > jc j.2B > j.C > 6C > 6C > 236AB > 236236D. 4493 damage into OD Hexa-Edge. This assumes enemy is standing.
2B > 5C > 6C > OD > 6C > 6C > jc j.C > 6C > 6C > jc j.C > 236AB > 236236D. 4672 damage into OD Hexa-Edge. This assumes enemy is crouching. If you can confirm straight into 6C after 2B, then it's 4695
5B > 5C > OD > 5C > 6C > 6C > jc j.C > 6C > 6C > jc j.C > 6C > 236236D. 4156 damage into OD Hexa-Edge.
2B > 5C > OD > 5C > 6C > 6C > jc j.C > 6C > 6C > jc j.C > 6C > 236236D. 4420 damage into OD Hexa-Edge.
5B > 5C > OD > 5C > 6C > 6C > jc j.C > 6C > 6C > jc j.C > 6C > 5DA > 2B > 6A > hjc j.236B > j.2DB > 3C > 236236D. 4742 damage. This is assuming enemy is near corner.

Damage is still kind of low compared to other character OD combos. Starting a confirm into 5C is more, but I feel isn't applicable in most situations I'm still going to experiment more and see what I can come up with to maximize damage more.

Alright I've been a bit more today and I found some more Taokaka OD combos.

100% Life, ending in corner, requires opponent standing
2B > 5B > 5C > jc j.C > j.2DB > 5B > 6A > 2D > j.5D > j.2DB > 2B > 6A > hjc j.236B > j.2DB > 3C > OD > 3C (2hits) > 6C > 6[C] > 236236D 3770 damage. If you can confirm 2B without 5B, then it does 4066 damage

100% Life, ending in corner, requires opponent crouching
2B > 5C > 6C > 236CC > 2D > j.5D6 > j.4D > j.5D > j.2DB > 2B > 6A > hjc j.236B > j.2DB > 3C > OD > 3C (2hits) > 6C > 6[C] > 2A > 6C > 6[C] > 236236D 4800 damage.

60% Life, ending in corner, requires opponent standing
2B > 5C > OD > 5C > 6C > 6C > jc j.C > 6C > 6C > jc j.C > 6C > 5DA > 2B > 6A > hjc j.236B > j.2DB > 3C > 236236D 4971 damage.

60% Life, ending in corner, requires opponent crouching

60% Life, Taokaka in corner, requires opponent crouching (This combo switches sides to put enemy in corner)

So pretty much Taokaka can reach upper levels of damage, but OD state may end before she gets to ender.
