Susanoo Combo thread

Can someone explain to me what the difference between those two combos is? They are both listed above, yet I obviously fail to see why this is listed twice.
 

The only difference that makes sense is the damage. which the first probably could be in AF or Counter hit, because both combos are identical.

However, I find nearly impossible to that amount in blue being the amount of heat obtained, because Susanoo gets way more than that, I guess.

If that green thing is about the marks, the first one is correct, with some minor changes, like after you hit 5D, 2D highlights the first icon to keep going. The second one doesn't make much sense, since even if the opponent blocks your 5D you still unlocking the icon and whiffing doesn't do anything. Unless both fourth and fifth icons are already activate and at max, which are 214B(lv2) and 236B(lv1), then it will stop at the sixth icon, mashing C.

@psycofang: I took the freedom of taking the combos in this thread and putting them into a sorted list. Makes the entire thing a little bit neater. If you want to use it, please feel free to copy paste it into the starting post. Hope that helps a little bit. ^^

I appreciate this a lot, ive been working some serious 16+ hour shifts a lot so my time has been strapped. Any revisions for better comprehension is never turned down imo.

My gripe is the unlocks and positions, the reason I don't put those in is due to the fact that mid match combos wont result in what the notation is claiming it will do so I only leave in positions moved, so I may change those accordingly if it doesn't bother you.

Susa needs to unlock specific tools immediately/ASAP. Going full combo mode with random unlocks doesn't work for him. He may get only one chance to unlock what is needed. Sure you have to improvise if that situation happens, but if you get the chance to unlock the goods, do so. Example: doing a full combo and unlocking a skill at random then losing momentum and now you're being pressured without having access to the proper tool/s (or even taken back to a neutral position). You've might've taken a lot of stamina off of them, but now you're in a position where you can't do such a thing. A smart opponent doesn't want you unlocking skills that deal with his/hers, so they like when we just go into flow-chart mode. Susa HAS to sacrifice damage to build himself up properly. That is why they gave him a drive attack in every position. You may only get a 2 or 3-hit combo, but if it unlocks Towering Flame or Blade of Justice, it's worth it. It's another thing if you know you can kill your opponent with a combo. If that's so, then do it. Susa is going to have to make a lot of decisions like that.

Youre missing the point i fear, its not about need or must or how.

 

Its about logical practicality. 

 

9/10 times you will NOT land those specific normals at the start of the round to unlock those specific nodes.

Hell, youll have to poke your way into landing those combos and by that point they wont unlock the nodes the notation claims it will.

 

I could put those combos copy paste as is but in a live match those combos will not work out the way they claim they will and we will have a high chance of new players scratching their heads.

@psycofang2: Glad you like it. ^^ Feel free to change anything that seems unimportant to you, I just thought that writing down the position certain combos will end in might be useful.

If I find any mistakes in my list (which might happen since writing down combos for Susanoo can easily end in forgeting a move for position/unlock), I'll paste the corrected version in this thread.

All of this is super helpful thank you everyone. This was my only issue with playing Susan so far: I would always have to move forward (not a problem since my conversions are great, but i want to control where my opponent moves somewhat*)
