The best way to get your money's worth on this is to buy one of the 2 hour game cards for 12 bucks, then swipe it and add a credit every 1.5 minutes, once you hit 9 credits go freeze the time card until you run of out of credits, rinse and repeat. On Wednesday nights at 7 pm you can get a 3 hour card for 8 bucks, much better deal (1 hour more for 4 dollars less) so just get one for a later date, you can stock up on them if you really wanna.

What type of cabinet is "The Ride"?

It's similar to SEGA's deluxe sit down cabinent in design.

It has a 40inch hdtv in the housing, not shown.

Sad to see AI have BB go back to 2 tokens per play. Hopefully we'll see less Noel, Ragna, and Nu players at AI with the changes. I can't wait to play Tsubaki, definitely going this weekend.

Yeah, I was surprise they got it so fast, AI was one of the last So Cal Arcades to get BB, but now they are the first:kitty:

It's only a 25-30 min drive for me to AI:yaaay:

Well I'm sure BBCS was not cheap, so they have to put it for 2 tokens, I'm fine with that, just as long as they got it in time.

I like that Sega cab, they used to have 3rd Strike in that cab, then BB, then KOF12 (it didn't do so good), then BB again, and now BBCS.

To anyone that goes to AI soon, please tell if the BBCS cabinet has the laggy Samsung display. That 'The Ride' cabinet used to house laggy BB...

I'm not really complaining, it was 2 per play when BB first came out; in fact I thinks it's better as I have 23 dollars in those AI tokens to burn thru. Gotta love those win streaks*

Where would it lag?

Input lag. I've heard from a friend and several other people that the BB cabinet there had input lag. When you last played on that cab, did it have any?

Your thinking of the buttons, player 1's light and drive buttons and player 2's light and heavy buttons, if using type A, are known to not pick up or be delayed. Usually have to press multiple times for it to register which is pain for doing AA, or comboing in general. It gets fixed, but this one NU player and a couple Tagers are just hard on the sticks when doing Tk's or 720's shaking the stick mount and loosening it, the owner really needs to find a way to bolting that shit down so it isn't shaking all over the damn place. I thought you mean't the games video feed being laggy when you said lag.

Yes it's still a problem, no that shouldn't stop you from playing BBCS.

God damn it that means it's on that damn Samsung. That display can suck it.

Where would it lag?

It lags through the entire match! The lag on that screen is worse than the vast majority of my online matches. I'm glad I'm not the only one who notices this. We should definitely tell the operator about it, maybe ask him to check for a "game" mode and turn off some postprocessing bullshit.

Your thinking of the buttons

No, he means the screen. The screen lags like mad. Occasionally, yeah, the buttons on P2 side will drop an input, but that rarely happens, and I'd attribute it more to not timing the input right because of the lag on the screen.

Is the lag really that bad? Maybe it's due to fact I main Hakumen and not really having to worry about tight input timing, altough I've had 623aa 9 f.c 2c combos not go off as they should, I've always chalked it up to the buttons.

Uh, last time I was there, I didn't notice any lag at all. But then again, I haven't been there in months, so shit may have changed. Besides, we'll hear from the people that went there today if they experienced lag or whatnot... Edit: People there say it's fine.

So I'm planning on going to AI with some friends, but want to get some info beforehand since it's going to be a 5 hour drive. I looked it up and the hours for AI are sun-thr: 1pm-10pm/fri-sat: 1pm-1am. Can anyone confirm this? And what day of the week would probably be best to go for it to be...less packed I guess?

Their hours of closing are pretty ambiguous. Usually the owner lets people stay there for quite some time after the doors are locked. I'm not sure if you're going to be able to find a day where people aren't swarming the BB machine what with CS just arriving, but friday saturday and sunday are the busiest days from what I've seen.

Quite a few people there tonight... They ended up closing at like 12:45, was just Bang Camaro, his friend (didn't remember his name >_<), and me at that time. Like others were saying tho, I didn't really notice any lag..
