so excited for rebalance in console PATCHABLE version of BB!!

rachel will rise again! muhahahaha.

can't wait.

i really want to come out to more tourneys, but having them on sundays are tough for me atm.

also have fun at WCWZ guys, sadly i won't be able to make it to that either =(

YEAAHHH!!! I knew hogging the bottom tiers would pay off :v:

Either way, I really hope I can make the next tourney. It's been so long since I've been there :mad:

If Aksys is smart, the changes won't be particularly drastic :psyduck:

Probably only affect the very top (Litchi, Bang, Ragna) and the very bottom (Rachel, maybe Tager)

Yeah, I really think they're just going to make minor adjustments. They could fix a bunch of problems with with some really small tweaks.

For the record I have not told Dacid I'm a better player. He's a cool guy.

Now then...we need to band together as a community!

Here's the secret vs. Dacid: Do things that end with you at plus frames (or even). Doesn't matter that he could try to throw you somewhere, or IB->super in the middle, he won't; he'll just 5A. Bait and punish. He's like Skynet - only scary after it learns to think.

Mike, I don't EVER play Tager. I have to figure out WHAT moves are + on block, and it'll be all good. There's a reason I didn't care if I got CH for 5Aing in post tourney casuals, I was testing. Lol.

I'm fine with you never losing to me again, but I don't want you to be leading everyone into a false sense of security either. It isn't that simple, and I don't want everyone to be putting all their eggs into that basket.

Plus, the reason I don't IB Super is because I don't have enough confidence in my understanding of my opponent's moves yet. It's another familiarity thing, I don't have a 5 frame super that can reach that far (Ashura only works when they're close, or my timing/execution is flawless to a frame or 2, and it isn't yet), so I have to rely on Daifunka for Tager, which is sooooo high risk.

Basically, the reason I'm not doing advanced things is because I'm still learning how to do everything, unlike you. You've been playing fighting games on stick for 10 years, I've barely been playing on stick for 10 weeks. :yaaay:

But I HAVE been conceptualizing these things that you pointed out. I want to make sure you know I've been thinking it through, but understanding my shortcomings in execution to not try it in tournament before I'm ready. :] You ARE a better player. Your time, energy, and experience show. But just you wait, I'm learning, fast, and nothing intimidates me, especially not with S tier Bang in front of me :I:

Sidenote, Bang's throw is 2 frames slower than his 5A, so it's a lot safer to use 5A to interrupt. :]

You won two tournaments, so clearly people are approaching playing against you wrong - especially if "only playing on stick for 10 weeks" matters at all, which I don't think it does. My suggestion didn't just come from playing you myself, I also watched the rest of your matches. 5A, and on defense jump or D...outside that, well...it's just that his D's give you a non-thinking way out a lot of the time. As a community, we need to up our game.

Most good players will explain to everyone else how to beat them so they can improve; talk to Valle sometime. I figured I'd help you out a bit. (^.^) If you'd rather I not point out things, don't give me things to point out.

'sides, this community needs a little drama every once in a while, we hug too much. Damn you, you lovable bastard!

Don't worry, because everyone secretly hates Mike! It evens itself out! ;)

One of these days I'll come down to a tournament... although with Fred taking a break from the game, I don't know how I'll get down there! :psyduck:

True words. I used to think, eons ago, that it was scrubby to IB just to 5A or to punish unsafe jumpins with 5A. No longer.

Well, to be fair, my execution after 10 weeks of stick is better than 10 months of pad.. :psyduck:

Bang's drives are only an easy mode way out for Tager, most other characters can abuse the lows. I only easy mode the drives if their character has trouble with it or until people figure it out (unless I'm trolling Jason's Rachel :yaaay:) But I AM glad you noticed, my gameplan is absurdly simple. :psyduck:

I'm fine with you pointing it out, I just wanted to make sure you knew it wasn't that simple, or make other people believe the same erroneous thing. o: Like I said, I always want the highest competition, and I LOVE advice to make me better.
