Man the IB change is too good. Now if only the character specific changes were as good as the general changes...

I made the GG comparison when they took out sweep otg's henaki.

wait i thought they lowered the amount of frames that requires????

nerfing IB advantage is the single best buff tager could possibly get.

edit: for the record that makes IBing A sledge -5, making it basically UNPUNISHABLE. holy shit that is honestly one of the biggest buffs they could give tager.

IB is now less rewarding.

It's not harder.

What is it, something like 8F you have for IB?

That remains the same.

Only thing is now it's +2/3F instead of +5F.

I know, Zong. I was wondering if Henaki knew something we didn't (read the post I quoted a page or two ago from him).

Can't wait to try a few characters in CS2 now. It's like Tager gets comparatively good damage again, with bonus blockstrings and no CT god tier.

Secretly, CSII is just Tager: the Game. I think basically every system change helps him significantly, and it's all-around a good thing. Does he have any way to get mediocre damage off 5A yet, though?

yeah pretty much.

also the IB change + the new volt charge -> 720 change means tager effectively has a similar power to "IB" certain things, while no other character can really do that to him. plus this makes A sledge viable (i would believe), meaning that tager has a guessing game with repeatable pressure. it isnt potemkin good but it is also meter free so...

that alone i think just turned tager from "worlds biggest gimmick" to "character with fundamental tools to win very poorly with a shitload of gimmicks".

if these changes stay in, sans some colossal fuck up on arcsys part, tager will be a capable character.

IB nerf means that Makoto's blockstrings can't be punished as easily as before.

This is good news.

Same with Tsubaki!

I'm going have a lot of fun with her 5B!

The IB change just made this game better.

But I don't agree with a lot of character changes

When it comes to those I end up being lost. At first I was thinking Makoto was doomed but with all the changes together against the rest of the cast, I am no longer sure. Just have to wait and see. Though it is always sad when someone reports that a group of players looks depressed at the location test (Looking at Tao players).

wow what a change (for the better). i'm a bit worried that some things might be too strong on block now, but i guess we'll see...

also to everyone who wants this game to be guilty gear... why wait? go play guilty gear! might as well hope that SSF4 arcade edition plays like 3S or CVS2.
