Hi everyone!, I bought the game yesterday and I got hooked by the game. <3

I have a little question!, I have the Koihime Enbu but in mizumi wiki it says Shin koihime musou.  I supose but it reffers to the visual novel series.... but my question is... its the mizuumi wiki updated? the combos are from the latest version of the game?. Thanks in advance!

By the way... I always have watched the game in Acho you tube channel..... are other good places for whatch matches of this game?.

There are 2 Shin Koihime Musou games:

  • Shin Koihime Musou refers to the visual novel game that is a sequel to the visual novel game "Koihime Musou".
  • Shin Koihime Musou: Otome Taisen Sangokushi Engi is the first iteration of the fighting game series which is what you're finding on the Mizuumi wiki. It hasn't been updated to Koihime Enbu (don't think it will if no one is actually putting time into it).

I just got Koihime Enbu recently and I noticed that some of the graphics like the character art (not the playable models/sprites, but the character select pictures/portraits), backgrounds, and some menu/HUD elements look kind of rough. The colours aren't very smooth. You might have to look closely as it's a little hard to tell from farther away.

It kind of looks like they've been converted to 256 colours and have dithering or some sort of compression. Is it supposed to look like this? I've tried looking at pictures online and don't see it, but it's hard to tell for sure.
I'm playing the PS3 disc version with it installed, if that makes a difference.

For me it is worth just for the OST. The music by SSH in this game is incredible good and before the announcement I even wanted to ask them if they were planning to include it as a bonus.

I wouldn't doubt on the game bombing hard regardless, since the game was fairly new, and it came out to PS consoles this year, so even though the price is high, it has to make its return investment, and probably the license agreements too, if possible. I think it'll do fine, and as usual, Degica usually discounts their games on certain sales often, so...yeah.

Sad this game is already dead. Pretty much died after 2 days. Again, I say the Anime FGC community is a flaky one. Jump ship so fast. Seems like nowadays it's all about playing keep up with the crowd. Getting a bit tiresome to be honest.

I wouldn't say dead, lol. I'll get back to it eventually, I just need to do the online stuff, is all, so yeah, I'll be playing it as soon as I get most of the single player stuff out of the way.

I just got a PSN card to pick it up. Been busy lately, playing Overwatch (and soon to be Dark Souls 3) with my lovey when we had time for games.

EDIT: Oops, thought I was on the Last Blade 2 page.

In addition to this, a new strategy mode has been added into the current training mode and there were character balances (I think).
Also, a new indicator has been added for when a fatal counter has been executed. Players now are able to see what 3 options they have used during a combo.

Players are now able to choose any assist they want rather being stuck with only 2 choices like before.

I was using Sousou/Karin in mugen and when I was knocked down while in the corner I rolled out of the corner with a blue trail behind her. I never played Shin Koihime Musou so I don't know how I did that. Is it possible to do that in the source game? If so what are the inputs? I never knew she can get out of the corner like that.

Unfortunately, no. There is no tech roll of the sort in Shin Koihime Musou nor Koihime Enbu so it might have been something someone added with the mugen character.

There's air recovery but nothing like a ground roll on knockdown or sorts.
