I'm strongly considering coming to MTL for those tournaments! Any chance the organizers of that Saturday tournament can be convinced to run it on PS3, or do I have to find a PS4 stick to borrow for it?

The MTLSF tourney says Xrd is run on PS4, hmm. Any chance they can run it on PS3 instead? Maybe on our own setups? Finding PS4 sticks is going to be iffy...

Ok so we talked for the MLTSF tournament, they say if we could bring our setups it would be great, and we could run it on ps3. They were going to do it short because they'd only have one setup and it's this one guys' ps4 which they'd need for USF4 after. So yeah we'd need at least 2, I can bring one.

No meetup at our place this week. Next week however...

There's a new game coming out this week, Koihime Enbu. I wanted to fit it in while keeping our 3 main games, so we will run it like they do in JP arcades : single elim best of one. I tried this game out in Japan and enjoyed it a lot, so I'll also provide a prize of 20$ for the winner as an incentive for everyone to give it a try. You can learn the basics in probably under 5 minutes, so I'll leave a station for it before we start the tournament. Dengeki's been doing pretty good so I'll leave it on the lineup. To save time, we'll run teams for Blazblue. Guilty Gear will still be singles, and we'll run it right after dengeki instead of BB.

Schedule :
5pm Venue opens
7pm DFCI (Singles, Double Elimination)
7:30pm GGXrd (Singles, Double Elimination)
8pm Koihime Enbu (Singles, Single Elim, Best of 1, 20$ prize for winner)
9pm BBCPEX (2v2 Teams, Double Elim, Waseda Style)
 
5$ goes to the venue, 5$ to the prizes. As usual, bring equipment if you can (PS3s, Screens, Sticks)! The more setups we have the more stations we can use for casuals. As for the formats of the games themselves, we'll figure that out then, will depend on number of stations, number of entrants, time, and whatever. Start times are TST (Tournament Standard Time) but please try to be there and have eaten before the tournaments you want to enter start.
 
PS : Can I get at least one more person to bring a PS3 for DFCI?
