[CSE] Tsubaki Yayoi Video Compilation 3.0 (Updated 4/7/13)

Recommended Posts

More will be coming out but since they're not done putting it on nico, and I'm going out, Jourdal will probably get the rest of it before me.

12/30

Keita (Ragna), Memai (Rachel) vs Kuresu (Tsubaki)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CzaUGF6YRQo

EDIT: Just kidding. Looks like Kuresu's team was knocked out somewhere else? :v: Gonna double check the vids to make sure but I don't think there's anymore of Tsu in the latest Tachikawa apart from this one.

I like the simple starters and some variations but lots of those can be improved upon for efficiency and positional advantage.

Good effort though, keep it coming~

Feel free to chime in on the combo thread and post your findings and we can discuss stuff there.

I know she can do so much better than I made. I don't want to be a player who use moves too complex, just some moves I always do in my games (less for error).

I still think you and Daedron are still the best. At least, thanks for your honest comments and thoughts.

Note at 9:28 pm: I saw that you and Daedron are using counter state moves. I forgot to say that's one of which I want to make, that some combos in real matches are made specifics between counter state or no.

Nice I like it~ I'll make an article on it later after a few more posts show up on the front page since it's pretty helpful.

Just some casuals.

Some fun stuff in there though, particularly a clash I didn't think I'd ever see.

Excessive hilarity in the clash, good choice of music (Go, Mana Khemia soundtrack), but I can't shake the feeling that your opponents were uh...not very good. ;) Though the 214D through the spike chaser for the win was pretty saucy.

Like everyone, I got a laugh or three out of the Tager mirror too.

My opponents vary in skill but it is what it is with the limited amount of opponents I have good connection with at the moment.

Lazy Casuals is more for fun than strictly for high level play since I'll basically play anyone I have a good connection with.

Oh and just for the record, I'm fairly sure Toan(Lambchops) would crush you if you played him, aha.

That is not much of a qualification. :P

Super thorough tutorial video.

Every Tsubaki mainer should definitely watch the series.

I too would like some translations but I'm pretty sure I understand most of what he's trying to explain there.

Also, near the end of part 2, he shows exactly what I was talking about with the 9j.C 236D delay stuff.

Daedron's foray into the online world of Extend

I went to training mode after this to figure out how many times I could have done more damage, I think about half the combos I did were unoptimal lol.

Oh well, that will come eventually :v:

EDIT: I took a quick look at part 3 (already watched part 1 and part 2) of the tutorial video. My jaw dropped when I saw some of the combos in the first 1.5 minutes.

Didn't even think of that lol XD

The thing that I didn't know about that I'll immediately start using is the 6C > 22B > 5C > 2C > etc etc ender.

Not much I didn't know about in there that's terribly useful but it was a very nice watch indeed and I'm sure it'll be able to help people get up to speed when they get their copies in a few weeks.

More lazy casuals!

Vs Isuyaru, TGS, Leonil and cookiehour.

Some high level carl play here. You can watch me try to block carl-neesan mix up and failing along with other fun tidbits here and there.

Read notes!

Oh nice you were able to play against Ivysaur. At least I'm pretty sure that's who that Carl is. I saw him play at CEO and he is indeed a beast of a Carl player.

Nice matches from both you and Daedron. First post is now updated up to this post.

Eh, I'm a little iffy about my match videos being in the video compilation thread.

I don't think I'm high level enough for people to be looking at my video to really be learning too much from it just yet and I don't really play all that seriously most of the time(lol netplay).

I post them here mostly for the entertainment value and not all the matches have me using Tsu as well.

What do you think?

Even if you don't think anyone is learning from it, I have and I think others have as well even if it's not exactly considered high level play. And let's not kid ourselves, some of the Japanese match videos listed aren't exactly high level play as well haha. It's under online matches so I would hope people would understand that it may just be matches where people are just having fun and enjoying themselves. I would also hope that the title "Lazy Casuals" would help~

I would like to think that while most do tend to try to learn from the videos in here (and I'm a firm believer that we can learn something from almost any video we watch), we also watch them for entertainment as well. The only videos in here that are specifically catered to teaching someone to learn Tsubaki, IMO, are the tutorial and combo videos in the combo videos section.

But if you don't want them to be listed in the post I'll take them down.
