hey i noticed something interesting in Supinoza (TS) vs Hane (LI) he got a fatal counter 3C and was able to follow that up with 5C into a IAD combo without a rapid it's good to see more combos opportunity with her fatal's but he tried using a bit too much which he ending up getting punished for it but man that second round made me (ノ`Д´)ノ彡┻━┻ but the last round was good tho but i'm diffidently seeing improvement with tsu matches so far their starting to learn more with her theirs hope for us yet lol

3C FC starters can go into 5C > 2CC or 6CC now and they'll be a good starter and possible alternative to 5C CH punish.

He used a lot of 3C in that match against Litchi to counter her guard point which doesn't have any low guard.

I definitely see myself using 3C a lot more than in CS 2 in extend but still not as much as I did in CS 1 when it was jump cancelable.

oh yea i can't wait to get my hands on EX and as a fellow mc i expect epic songs with those combos vids of yours and ultimate lazy casuals! or something like that lol. but yea can you 5BB>5CC>214214D>236D>(Air)236D>214D cause i've seen a lot of tsubaki's try it and it whiffs maybe it's corner only? also i think hit confirm into mugen will diffidently be more effective now with the increase in damage

This, more than anything, is what is going to make my decision on whether Arc Sys totally screwed us or not. :P

Thank you PK.

Everyone needs to watch the 2nd vid.

i agree that was great hopefully that restored some faith for tsubaki lol. Also i'm seeing a lot of 3C punishing though out most of the vids can her 3C really be viable now? lol

3C can be used to get FCs but in many cases in the videos it just looked like he was randomly throwing them out. There were multiple times where he got punished or COULD HAVE gotten punished. This is a bad influence, lol.

I'd think 3C is more viable because it seems to give us better combo options when we score FCs.

With stock it'll be even more beneficial.

Winning against a character that's also supposedly bottom of the barrel doesn't give me much hope. = /

I admit, I'm being a hardcore negative nancy about CS:EX. But I haven't seen much in the way of reasons not to be, yet.

It's just the "seeing the glass as half-full or half-empty situation" really~

And 3C will not be completely viable until it is CS1 status-ish again with the FC property lol. :T

While I don't blame you Dusk, I just want to point out that the reason I made that statement was not because Tsubaki won.

It was actually because the player managed to pull of 2 new combos, both of which, help to try and expand our options on combo potential.

Yup. I'm specifically referring to both of the combos you mentioned.

Although they're not of common starters, they're still something which can be added to our arsenal.

The damage of the fatal was decent, considering it was midscreen too. The damage of the 5C CH combo was alright, for a corner combo.

The one thing I dont like in her changes after seeing all these videos, still, is her slower 5B. Other than that, "I" dont think EX Tsubaki is bad. It's quite apparent that her game plan has changed quite a bit. And that's something we will have to learn. We need to face the fact that we will be readjusting to our character more than we originally thought we would have to.

There's alot of new tech we still have yet to see with EX Tsubaki. Once we get Extend, there's going to be massive amounts of research done, and it's up to us to discover more of her tech. So just hang tight till then.

Really getting tired of having to read posts from so many people whining about the changes like it's really THAT BAD.

CS2 Tsubaki = free corner carry into oki from 3/4s of a screen away without charge, and a full screen away with charge. Gets ~2.5k midscreen chargeless off normal starters, ~3k in the corner chargeless off normal starters, and more -with- charge.

CSEX Tsubaki = Corner carry with oki gone + damage nerf = brb, crying
