Rio Grande Valley thread

Do you live in the small town cities of the RGV. Believe it or not there are players down here. Anybody from the valley post here and maybe we could get a tourny going somewhere.

I play Blazblue Continuum Shift 2, Mortal Kombat, and King of fighters 13

Also play various RPG's and world of warcraft.

My main genre though is fighters.

Yeah, I wish more people down here were on dustloop and everything.

I do know people play down here to some extent though. I take Blazblue to my gamer club and I meet people who play there. Plus my friend is a great Hazama. If only a tournament could get going down here. It seems like Marvel vs Capcom is the thing down here.

Yeah, nobody really plays these games down here tbqh.

Like, back then I tried to push Guilty Gear as much as I could. Also, which gamer club? Do you go to utb by any chance?

It does seem like it would be better up in Austin.

I'm dual enrolled in a Early College high school as a sophomore and TSTC Harlingen.

I go to the gamer club there.

Oh I see. Hmm, well, where else do you usually play games at? Tbqh, there hasn't been many gatherings around here lately. I think there's Wednesday Night Fights or something like that in like Mcallen or something, I don't really keep in touch, lol.

Yeah, I used to go to Let's Play before the owner started raising the prices more and more. Most people stopped going there altogether iirc.

I think the dumb thing Let's play arcade did was sell their cabinets.

We need more arcade cabinets. If only they got Extend but that wouldn't happen.

They are still at the Harlingen mall but I think the first one is still open by an auto parts store somewhere in Harlingen.

The original one used to have all these cool cabinets.

They had an Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 cabinet and sold it, I was dissapointed.

Yeah, I know. They also had Guilty Gear XX Accent Core... although it was on an american cabinet and it hurt as hell to play on it.

american cabinet + guilty gear set up = painful as fuck on the fingers

It really hurts playing a game like guilty gear in such setup.

I got like 10 more people into Blazblue since I last posted here. One day everyone in the Valley needs to have an offline tournament.

Maybe the people in Northern Mexico will join too? Don't know if there is much BB players south of the border.
